The front is clean - 5 but memory care would get a 3. [name removed] the receptionist is amazing! She is always upbeat and upselling IV! She loves her community and it shows!! The staff is amazingly helpful and friendly! They love their residents and care about their days and if they are doing well!I love how [name removed] knows all the residents and all details so she can be there for them, when family can't! most importantly my dad is loved and I know he feels it and that is something I will always be grateful for!!

The staff is very good to my mom. And the younger kids that serve the food in dining room are absolutely wonderful. She does not get reminded or taken to the activities. It's my understanding she is to have cleaning services and life enrichment activities which she doesn't receive

Everything was a easy process. I would recommend to others.

My family move enough furniture from my home for me to comfortable in my new apartment. I started therapy after moving and an now on the Wellness Program.

I toured this facility and was impressed by the programming and warmth when walking the halls. The food was amazing. My observations of the residents and staff is an exemplary of a positive work culture and a great placement for an elder in my family.

My mother moved from an assisted living facility in Northern Ohio to Independence Village, Avon, four years ago. From the moment she moved in, both she and her family have been very happy with all of the staff there. The aids, nurses, housekeeping, dining room, maintenance and administrative personnel have all been friendly and helpful. Over the years, as her care needs increased, the staff worked with her and us to adjust to and meet those needs. As the family member responsible for making sure that her needs were taken care of, my mind was always at ease knowing how much the staff cared for my mother. I never really worried that she wasn't been looked after. It always warmed my heart to walk into her room for a visit and finding one of the aides sitting and visiting with her. These interactions did wonders to brighten her day.

All staff caring, loving, attentive and accommodating. Our first impression is still and continues t be "best place for Mom.!

Wonderful in all areas office. Nursing aids kitchen servers housekeeping maintenance activities.

We chose IV for the memory care cleanliness and dementia processes. We found comfortable home where our mom felt at home after a short time. The staff became out friends and were always responsible to our needs. We are grateful for their care.

We have only been here for a short time but so far we have been pleased. Everyone is nice and seems to care.
