at Independence Village of Avon Lake

I have been here for nearly 3 years and have been happy with my home. My apartment is bright and spacious. The food is good and if I need help, the staff is there for me.

Was nervous moving in. I did not know a soul. Now I have friends I play cards with.

Wonderful atmosphere front desk is always very friendly and very helpful. Food is always delicious.

Would suggest for anyone looking for a place for a loved one. We were welcomed by caring, attentive and joyful staff. Knowing family is safe and happy receiving the care they deserve.

My mother lived in IV for four years. She received wonderful care and was surrounded by a great staff that truly cared for her.

This has been an excellent home for me. I like meeting people and hearing their stories. I have been living here for 3 yrs. The first year my husband was here and bath of us were glad we decided to move here. It is well run and the staff responds to suggestions that are appropriate my husband and I brought with us an appropriate amount of furniture etc deciding to move here was exactly the right decision! Many persons here feel the same way I do!

If you cannot be in your own home this is the place to be. Lots to do our residents staff and friendly.

Like that they offer many craft/activities for residents miss the social that were offered to family. The group of ladies that she sits with are great.

It is such a privilege to provide music therapy services to the residents at Independence Village. Working alongside the activity director has been so fun, and I love watching them interact with the residents during music by helping them dance or place instrument and encouraging them to sing along.

My mom moved into Impendence Village in [date removed], and from the very beginning, she's felt truly at home. " The staff are incredibly friendly, helpful and welcoming. Always going the extra mile to make my mom feel comfortable and cared for. She's also been enjoying the food! It's really comforting to know she's in a place where she feels safe. supported and happy.

My mother has lived here for 15 years. She loves it, feels safe, and is very happy with the quality meals, help of aids to assist her with medication, the variety of activities, and the rewarding friendships she has developed. Thank you ever so much for providing a quality living environment for her to enjoy her final years.

I spent a couple weeks at this community and enjoyed my time here so much. The residents are so happy, friendly, and are always engaging.The management team is fantastic. They work so well together and you can tell with each and every one of them that they care so deeply about the residents and their families. I will miss being at this community so much but I will be sure to visit again in the future!
