The StoryPoint Group Aging and Dementia Services team used decades of firsthand experience to perfect an approach that meets residents where they’re at on their journey through dementia. With elements of this approach, we can give residents, team members, and families the best possible experience, one connection point at a time.
A Purposeful Culinary Experience
24/7 Snack Bar
Freshly made and prepackaged snacks are easily accessible from the clearly labeled snack bar and see-through mini fridge. Delicious smoothies are a portable way for residents to get the nutrition they need, and it’s a healthy alternative to meal supplements.
Red Dishware
Meals are served on red dishware, scientifically proven to encourage residents to eat more.
Family Style Dining
Self-directed dining experiences create a sense of community between residents and help them to feel more in control.
Revivify
Scented oil aromatherapy before meals has been proven to increase appetite and stimulate senses.

Resident Biography
A short biography of each resident is located inside their apartment allowing guests and employees to engage with residents in a more familiar and intentional way.

Every team member has the personalized support and education they need to decompress, recharge, and understand the true meaning of self-care.
Color System
The color discreetly displayed around the resident photo in their biography allows team members to quickly identify which stage a resident is on in their dementia journey. It tells them how to best communicate and support each resident.
Continuous Dementia Training
We offer our own general dementia overview training, hands-on coaching, and comprehensive onboarding, plus other training opportunities to help our team grow.

Move-in Process
We offer move-ins Monday to Thursday when physicians are available, pharmacies are open, and more leadership and staff are available to ensure a smooth adjustment to the community.

A light outside of our neighborhood subtly signals to others that a resident is actively transitioning, so they can be respectful when entering the neighborhood.
