We have had a great experience at Story Pointe. My mother is settling in nicely and everyone is really nice. Everyone knows her name and her needs. They do a great job checking on her. They manage her medication and always make sure she is eating. Overall it has been a very good experience.

Story Point is truly spilling with love. I’ve interviewed other facilities & I my loved one lived at another facility for a couple of years. Story Point has met my expectations in every way. Every staff member I’ve observed, has interacted with the residents in a very caring way. I’ve seen many go above & beyond. The Food doesn’t compare to the last place my loved one was at. The food is good with several healthy options! The chef went out of his way to make my loved one something that wasn’t on the menu a couple of times. I can’t say enough positive things about this facility. I HIGHLY recommend it.

My Loved One [removed name] has been here 6 months and she is more content than at home.The staff is most important. They are alert, caring, friendly, patient and professional. Several told me they are there because they like what they do. They get continuing training. They engage the residents often, with empathy, happiness and energy.Food is a big part of the day. They serve 3 meals with an afternoon happy hour or snack. The food is upscale with several choices, options and deserts. Simple comfort food is always available, as are several flavors of ice cream. Food is prepared on site and I know the chef. We had the food 3 times before choosing StoryPoint.The place looks like a resort hotel with high ceilings and many large windows. It is spacious, airy and well lit. We like sitting in the courtyards in good weather. Its clean.The apartments are large with several large windows. The bath is quite large, with a roomy walk-in shower.Activities are available at least 3 times a day.

What we like the most about the community is that It felt comfortable and the residents were encouraged to come into the community areas and make friends.

I have had an all around great experience with StoryPoint. The staff is very kind and considerate. They were also very accommodating with helping me to get everything in order for my mom's move-in date.

Wonderful facility, services, and staff. Always fun activities, special guest features such as authors or musicians. Staff is very helpful. The facility is very clean. We feel very safe having our mother living at StoryPointe Birmingham.

After a 3 month hospital stay, we moved my mom from her condo to StoryPoint Birmingham. From our first meeting with [name removed], to moving my mom in, we had a great experiences. [name removed] was wonderful helping coordinate all the details, [name removed] has been a breath of fresh air each time we have met with her. The caregivers, nurses, front desk employees, restaurant staff etc…have all been very kind, helpful and friendly to our whole family ! My mom is happy and well taken care of and we have some peace of mind. We highly recommend considering StoryPoint Birmingham for your loved ones !

My mom has had mixed results with the caretakers. Some are very good, and some she felt did not understand her Parkinson's and associated movement limitations. Response times are slow at times, and she sometimes has waited an hour or more after pressing her call button. She has told me multiple times that they seem to be understaffed. She takes all her meals in her room and has never complained about the food. She does not participate in activities. So overall impression is good, but not great. But I think that is the case with most assisted living facilities.

I recently toured StoryPoint Birmingham, and I was genuinely impressed. The place has a warm, welcoming vibe that immediately put me at ease. The staff were friendly and attentive, and it was clear they knew the residents well and cared deeply about them.

I am the Owner of Heart Strings Studio LLC and we go to Birmingham Storypoint very often. We absolutely love playing for this location. Not only playing but the staff and residents are absolutely amazing. I highly recommend this facility not only for entertainment but considering living at this facility.

As of recently my wife and I have been looking for a place for her aunt who is bound to a wheelchair and has signs of dementia. We drove to the facility, and my goodness!. It was tucked back at the end of cute little neighborhood surrounded by a park, a restaurant, and it has an adorable courtyard with people outside doing activities and enjoying the weather. As you walk inside you can tell the staff takes pride In What they do. Everyone greeted us with a smile and the place was spotless. We peeked over into the dining room before our tour with christi (I believe) and smelled some delightful food. We have a couple more tours of other places, bit I feel this may be the one!! Thank storypoint for putting our concerns to rest.

I love it here. Everyone is so kind. The food is good. The activities are fun. There is a nice courtyard to sit and enjoy the weather. We have movie nights and people come and play live music for us.

All you could ask for! Friendly and focused on taking care of the residents. My mom loves the activities- they really do care! I would definitely take a tour and strongly consider it! You’ll be glad you went!

5 Stars for Storypoint Birmingham! Excellent care staff and dining and food selections. A menu for every breakfast, lunch and dinner. My father is thriving here. Very good social environment and calendar.

We have been through many managament changes over the year but things are starting to improve. SP Birmingham is truly a gorgeous facility with lots of windows, naturtal light gorgeous courtyards and beautiful new rooms. The hardworking staff have been the rutter for us as we have adjusted to the senior living community with my Mom and Dad. The wonderful front desk staff, the building maintenance staff, housekeeping staff, wellness and activities staff, and the med techs/aides have made the difference for us. The dining services are top notch and provide delicious food and restaurant quality service for our family and make it feel like home.
