Beautiful facility. Love the staff. Judy works tirelessly to make sure the patients are well cared for and supported both emotionally and physically. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a warm, friendly competent assisted living facility.

The staff was very kind and meals looked very good. Not too many activities in memory care.

Mom stayed at Briarwood's Memory Care for over a year. I always knew she was safe and well taken care of and the facility was always clean. The staff members seemed to truly care about the residents and the facility manager was always responsive and helpful with any of our concerns.

Love that I don’t have to worry about my mom!

My parents moved into the facility together 8 months ago. Both have had wonderful care. The staff is amazing, always thinking up creative things to do with residents. My parents have had a difficult time giving up their independence at age 90, but again the staff has tried to help them make the transition easier. Their personal care is amazing also, as they are both healthy, clean and fed delicious Chef cooked meals. I would not hesitate recommending this facility. Allegan is very lucky to have. I am so grateful for the care and concern my parents have received.

The staff is amazing, friendly and on top of things. Highly recommend. The place is clean and well maintained along with delicious food.

It definitely feels like family. The small, hometown atmosphere. Seeing residents active in the facility.

Amazing community! Caring staff!

My dad calls Briarwood HOME. Our experience has been great. Everyone treats my dad with compassion and respect. They have fun activities, field trips, always something fun going on. The staff makes the residents family members feel at ease too.

My husband has been at Briarwood in the memory care unit for the past 3 months and I have been very pleased with the care he has received. He has been resting comfortably, and has never given me any complaints concerning his time there. The facility is very welcoming, and the personnel are very friendly and responsive. I am pleased to have Briarwood nearby in Allegan, and would recommend it for anyone needing assisted living with memory care.

Staff at all levels are helpful in many ways. Very responsive to client needs. When I arrived here from my hospital stay, I was unable to do things for myself. The staff was always there for me with help and encouragement. Thanks to the staff I have greatly improved. My room is cleaned, bedding changed, toiletries adequately supplied, clothes and bedding washed regularly. Medication managed as appropriate. Administrative Staff and Aides truly care about me and my wellbeing, which makes me feel that I am in the right environment. The Enrichment staff are genuinely interested in our participation in our personal interests for activities and provide many opportunities.

This community is beautiful. Very clean and well kept grounds. Staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The food is amazing and a very full activity calendar. Thank you so much for the tour and your knowledge Matt. It is truly appreciated.

Well luckily my parents have some money otherwise they would never be able to afford $[removed] a month. Meal-wise... my Dad doesn't eat meat very much. They have been great at making him a protein shake or sandwich but might be nice to have a simple 2nd choice? And I'm not sure but do they offer snacks in the afternoon? I don't even know. I've had to double check a lot with administration to get some things done.

One thing that I found very helpful here is when I need help the caregivers are quick to respond. I also appreciate that the hallways and rooms are kept clean. Also, grateful that I do not have to do my cooking or my laundry. I did find it challenging when I first arrived that medications are handled by the pharmacy through assistive living. I have been in the hospital 4 times in the past few months since living here so medication have been a challenge.
