All around great place but Carla in Activities is wonderful! She’s always fun, energetic, and truly present with the residents. You can tell she genuinely cares and puts her heart into making sure everyone is engaged and having a good time. She brings such a positive atmosphere.

We initially toured Danbury as an option for our Mom as an assisted living facility. She started out upstairs and for the past two years has been down in Memory Care with advanced dementia. As a family we try to visit three to four days a week. There has been some bumps in the road but the past year has been much better with great care for our Mom. If one of can’t make it in for a visit because of illness or weather, we know that she is being taken care of.

The current Memory Care staff leadership has done a fantastic job pulling a team together to provide excellent care for my mother. The overall staff have been great and a pleasure to get to know. My mother started out in the assisted living area of danbury. Management and staff were always helpful and showed that they genuinely cared for the residence under their watch. My mother enjoyed the daily activities and the quality and variety of food offered in the dining room. My mother is now in the memory care unit, and we feel that the quality of her care has been very good and the the staff has continued to show that they truly care for my mothers wellbeing.

Staff is wonderful! Everyone is kind and compassionate. Telephone communication can be challenging at times after the receptionist leaves. Family parties for the holidays, Veterans Day activities, and other events create a close community.

I like it here. The food is pretty good. It's not like home cooking but they are cooking for 100+ people. I would recommend the food to everyone. If you're in a wheelchair you sometimes have to wait for an aide to assist you.
