Why Residents And Their Families Love StoryPoint Chattanooga

Do you all have a bathroom for those in crutches
- Randall Maples Maples
I believe the staff took good care of my husband (who was sometimes difficult to handle). The staff was always pleasant and welcoming when I was there. Many of them expressed to me that they enjoyed working with my husband. I was there during lunch a couple of times and all the residents seemed to enjoy their lunches including my husband. The apartment was a nice size and had a nice view. I know they had activities but I was never there when they were having them. I had a key to his room and could visit anytime.

We are so thankful and feel Blessed to have our family member at Story Point. Our journey has been good from the day one and the staff has always been kind, helpful and part of the reason our aunt now calls this place home! Thanks to each and every staff member at Story Point for loving and caring for all of their residents!
- Melissa Fite
Great place! Very clean and maintained really well. The staff goes out of their way to be friendly and helpful. I really think that they deserve a 10 ️ rating.
- Leslie Cunningham
No registered nurse on staff on weekends. Wonderful and tasty meals were provided. The activities offered were varied and very stimulating for the patients that chose to participate.

The employees are so sweet! She really likes that place.

I found everyone at Storypoint to be welcoming and genuinely concerned about how my Dad was settling in. They plan a lot of resident activities, which has been great for him.

My grandmother had been there when they first opened 25 years ago and it was a good experience so that was the main draw. Also some of the staff have been there for a long time which makes the community stronger. The smallest apartments are smaller than we anticipated but other than that it's great.

Overall, we are happy with our relative’s care. I wish communication about their life inside the facility was more often. In general when visiting the memory care area, one wish would be to have more coordination in activities.
- Stephen C
This place provided special care for a special patient. They promised to work with me as his condition declined and they did just that to the end. Compassion for the family starts at the top and is carried through to staff and then to patient. A positive attitude and energy in all things and patience when necessary. Recommend this place to others constantly
- Jo Ann

Toured StoryPoint to help a family member look for a higher level of care. The assisted living and memory care were very clean and care staff was very kind and knowledgeable would recommend StoryPoint.
- Lacy G
The staff is excellent. The care staff is generally caring and loving. It would be better to have more of them. They have so many roles, that they are spread thin. The food is healthy and excellent. The dining room is to small. I would like room cleaning to occur more frequently. We love the staff. My mother is content.

The staff @ SP do a great job of recognizing each resident as a valued person. They try hard to understand their abilities & what presents challenges. Rooms (including bathrooms) are good sized & well suited adults. The dining room does a great job planning menus with both variety & nutrition. The activity staff & activities are amazing! Nursing & care staff are attentive and listen to the needs of residents & family members and address them as best as possible. The admin & reception staff are always kind + courteous. and address any problems. The facility maintenance guy works hard to keep everything in good working order and cleaning staff works daily to keep clean. There is no perfect AL facility, but SP comes close!

Just enjoy watching the residents communicate with each other. You don't know who will have your coat on the next day. But that is ok.
