Ever since I discovered Story Point Senior Independent Community four years ago, I knew it where I want to live in the future. This community is affordable, beautifully, maintain and supported by an exceptional staff. Special thanks to [name removed], the Sales Director for her warm welcome and to [name removed] the Director for her outstanding leadership. The maintenance and housekeeping teams keep the community in excellent condition creating a comfortable environment. [name removed] , the Chef prepares exceptional meals, and desserts that make dining a pleasure. I enjoy the coffee hour in the morning, and happy hour with live music. With the invitation of my friends that live there I am grateful to be part of such a caring and well manage community.

I recently toured StoryPoint Senior Living in Chesterton, Indiana, and was so impressed from the moment I walked in. The facility was spotless and everything looked so well cared for and welcoming. The apartments have a wonderful layout that truly feels like home, and my Mom is especially excited about the on-site beauty salon, such a thoughtful and fun amenity!There seems to be a great variety of activities and social opportunities, and every resident we met looked genuinely happy and engaged. I also had the pleasure of meeting Executive Director MeLisa Moore, who was incredibly professional, approachable, and kind. Even though she’s clearly very busy, she took the time to answer all of my questions and make us feel comfortable. She, along with the rest of the staff I met, were all so warm and friendly.Overall, I left with such a great impression. My mom is really looking forward to the possibility of making StoryPoint her future home.

My mother and I live in Houston, but my grandmother lives in NW Indiana. We’ve spent the last 2 years going back and forth trying to help her maintain her independence at home. When she had a bad fall in March, we started looking into senior living and that’s when we met Emily.She was able to make this exhausting process easier than we expected. I thought I was going to have to take FMLA in order to manage all of this, but the staff at StoryPoint went so above and beyond, I was able to finally balance my own life while still helping my grandmother.She has lived at the community for 3 months now and we cannot believe how well she has adjusted! Melisa the Executive Director has been extremely helpful answering all of our questions and helping my grandmother get settled.The Chef even came up to her apartment the day she moved in and asked if he could make her favorite dish for dinner! If that does not say "above and beyond," I don't know what does.All in all, we are so happy with our experience. This facility had a huge impact in making an extremely difficult time in our lives as painless as possible. I urge anyone who is considering seeking senior living for themselves or a loved one to give them a call.

Everything gets a 5.. except number 8. Number 8 gets a 4 because the price seems a bit much in my opinion. The facility is clean and inviting. The staff is very attentive to the needs of residents.

Storypoint has been great starting from day one. I went to the tour very grumpy and unhappy with the idea of my grandpa moving anywhere but my house. After our tour with Emily, I was wondering if I could move in too!! Storypoint is bright, cheery, and clean. My grandpa has been living there for 3 months now and has nothing but positive things to say. I can't say enough wonderful things about Storypoint!

Great place! Everyone was so friendly and kind. They have a atmosphere that makes you feel like you are at home.

My sales person Emily was amazing. She was knowledgeable, flexible and able to make me feel at home almost instantly as soon as I met Emily. The facility is very nice and offers many amenities. But it took while to get settled after we arrived. There was some concern that the staff and other managers had dropped the ball. I had to go and personally take of things because of the changes that happened. My father is better now but it took several months to get things right. I don’t believe Jordan was very helpful in this transition. Emily did step up and made things so much better, she is the reason my father is still at story point. Thank you Emily Smith!!

After touring StoryPoint, Chesterton, we were certain we’d found the place my mom could call home.

My sister has been a resident of Story Point for just over 2 years. She & our family are very pleased with the whole experience here. The director and the entire staff are concerned about the care, safety, comfort & happiness of the residents. They are professional & yet approachable in a relaxed setting. The common areas are always clean & the dining experience is nice, too. I highly recommend Story Point for independent/senior living.

Experiences are good, tons of activities, good food. Our trips are fun! Staff is terrific. The dinning experience is wonderful, they go out of the way to make you happy and full! The activity team goes out of the way to make sure we are taken care of and feel like family. I’m glad I made StoryPoint my home.

The care team is very compassionate towards their residents, Super clean and organized, the food is amazing everyday! Breakfast, lunch or dinner, it never disappoints!

Amazing environment.

I have been here just over a month and I am loving it here. The activities, the meals, the staff, and the other residents are all fantastic. Overall, StoryPoint in Chesterton is a great place to retire and enjoy life.From the first people you meet at StoryPoint who give you the tours and welcome you at the front desk, to the wonderful staff at the dining locations, to the fabulous housekeeping and maintenance staff people, and of course the fantastic people running all the activities, and finally to the the head people everyone is looking out to make sure you are having a wonderful experience.

I have lived here at Story Point and unassisted living for seven months. The food is great the personnel pride themselves and knowing you by your first name, they get to know you because they spend a lot of time with you. It’s just like being on a cruise ship without any water around it. I highly recommend if you’re looking for a place for your mother or father to check us out

My first look was excellent, friendly , nice facility. Very comfortable. Many things to do. Friendly staff and residents. Easy to navigate the building with being in a chair could be hard but lots of help. And most of all helpful.
