I’ve been performing at Story Point for about a year. I would like to begin by saying that the staff and the directors are wonderful kind and caring. The staff goes out of their way to make everyone feel welcome. The decor is so beautiful. This is truly one of my favorite places to perform.

I’ve had the pleasure of visiting and performing here for the residents multiple times. The facility is always clean, well-maintained, and has a welcoming atmosphere. The residents seem genuinely happy and well cared for, and the staff is always kind, attentive, and engaged. It’s clear there’s a strong sense of community here. Always look forward to coming back!

Amber provided an excellent experience from start to finish. She was incredibly sweet, professional, and easy to communicate with. I really appreciated how responsive and clear she was when answering my questions. She went above and beyond by providing helpful information and guidance on setting up a tour of the facilities for my elderly grandmother, which made the whole process much less stressful. Her kindness and willingness to help truly stood out. I would highly recommend working with Amber!

My husband and I have lived at StoryPoint Chesterton In an independent living apartment for several years. We definitely called this place home almost from the start. As our kids would say we are happy and safe. Exactly what we were all looking for. The entire staff at Chesterton StoryPoint are absolutely amazing and try to meet every need that we have. They're always there to support us in every way. The dining room is beautiful and the delicious choices on the menu everyday have something for everyone. We would recommend StoryPoint to any senior who is looking for the perfect place to be independent and yet have services available when you need them.

Coffee is enjoyable, power back staff very different and caring. Food served in normal time and tasty. Any questions answered. Help I request my apt in attended to quickly and correctly.

Ever since I discovered Story Point Senior Independent Community four years ago, I knew it where I want to live in the future. This community is affordable, beautifully, maintain and supported by an exceptional staff. Special thanks to [name removed], the Sales Director for her warm welcome and to [name removed] the Director for her outstanding leadership. The maintenance and housekeeping teams keep the community in excellent condition creating a comfortable environment. [name removed] , the Chef prepares exceptional meals, and desserts that make dining a pleasure. I enjoy the coffee hour in the morning, and happy hour with live music. With the invitation of my friends that live there I am grateful to be part of such a caring and well manage community.

My mother and I live in Houston, but my grandmother lives in NW Indiana. We’ve spent the last 2 years going back and forth trying to help her maintain her independence at home. When she had a bad fall in March, we started looking into senior living and that’s when we met Emily.She was able to make this exhausting process easier than we expected. I thought I was going to have to take FMLA in order to manage all of this, but the staff at StoryPoint went so above and beyond, I was able to finally balance my own life while still helping my grandmother.She has lived at the community for 3 months now and we cannot believe how well she has adjusted! Melisa the Executive Director has been extremely helpful answering all of our questions and helping my grandmother get settled.The Chef even came up to her apartment the day she moved in and asked if he could make her favorite dish for dinner! If that does not say "above and beyond," I don't know what does.All in all, we are so happy with our experience. This facility had a huge impact in making an extremely difficult time in our lives as painless as possible. I urge anyone who is considering seeking senior living for themselves or a loved one to give them a call.

Everything gets a 5.. except number 8. Number 8 gets a 4 because the price seems a bit much in my opinion. The facility is clean and inviting. The staff is very attentive to the needs of residents.

My sister has been a resident of Story Point for just over 2 years. She & our family are very pleased with the whole experience here. The director and the entire staff are concerned about the care, safety, comfort & happiness of the residents. They are professional & yet approachable in a relaxed setting. The common areas are always clean & the dining experience is nice, too. I highly recommend Story Point for independent/senior living.
