Friendly residents, welcoming environment.Areas for improvement:Food -- less starch, no tomatoes, more fresh, less processed.Activities -- more physical, bird feeders with bird identification

I feel safe, secure and comfortable here, managing staff is outstanding.

Need a new shuttle bush and additional hours the halls and activity rooms has had no air conditioning this summer. Food delivery and quality are disappointing also need heart healthy entrees offered.

Love living in this facility. Very clean, staff is so friendly and helpful. The meals are very tasty and a nice variety to choose from.

Great apartments, great activities and super nice workers. The only issues are related to food and automatic debits for rent have been messed up but our Mom is living her best life so we are working on those few issues and confident we can work it out

I have been living here almost a year. It has been a good experience. The staff and residents are friendly. Any needed repairs have been done in a timely manner. I would like heathier food options.

I placed my mom at this location 2 years ago. She immediately felt at home and got involved. A wonderfully pleasant place to be for the aging. She was surrounded by loving, caring people.

This is the place to be! However, many who have left reviews seem to be mistaken about the living arrangements here. Independence Village, as indicated in its name, is for independent living with added benefits. It is not designed to be a place that provides 24/7 care for individuals. It is an apartment complex designed for seniors that provides three daily meals if residents so choose. If additional care is needed, independent caregivers can be hired. The staff, however, makes this place extraordinary! Without them, this would be like any other place. They go the extra mile, they get to know you, your family and friends…heck, they become part of your family! They care so much they get confused with a 24/7 care staff! I highly recommend this place to anyone considering independent living for seniors. It is worth it to have constant peace of mind, security, friendly residents and staff and transportation that meets your needs. Check it out!

As a healthcare provider for our clients in our community, Independence Village has a staff that is caring , friendly and accessible across all departments for the residents and families in our community.The community schedules weekly outings for activities as well as daily activities within the community. The community offers daily transportation for scheduled hours for residents as needed.The community is clean and well maintained throughout with daily scheduled staff.I would highly recommend this community to anyone needing this type of setting for their loved one.

I love this place!! I have so much fun with activities and the people are so happy and fun! I should have done this years ago!

Such a wonderful retirement center. Building and grounds are so well maintained. Best aspect is the employees, each and everyone of them are caring, compassionate, loving and kind. Residents are job one. Kyla, Lisa and crew, keep up the awesome job you all do every day.

The management staff Kyla and Lisa are outstanding! They truly care about their residents. I have seen firsthand how they are quick to respond and go above and beyond for the needs of the residents. If you’re considering senior placement for your loved one you should consider this location!!
