I entertain at this facility and it is wonderful. The activity director, Janet, is a great joy to work with and the residents are also. It is first class all the way! Beautiful atmosphere too.

My mother lived at Storypoint Cordova for a year. The staff here from every care partner to nurse to administration were all so kind to her and to me! They have truly become an addition to our family. They laugh with us and cry with us. They love my mom and and us so well. Thank you for being a blessing in the difficult world of dimentia.

Mom loves it here! They treat her so well and we are so comfortable about her care in memory care.

My husband is in memory care and from day one I have been very pleased with the service and heartfelt staff. It truly feels like family from the time I step in the building to the time I leave I know I’m loved and my husband is loved. In one of the most difficult times I needed to feel love because I felt I was losing my husband; the staff loved on me. Of all the times I needed love even more these staff stand out to me because the gift God has placed in them Director of Connections Jessica Balfour, Tometha Hawkins, Tamara Williams, and Lisa Clayton but I truly love all the staff because they are caring. Jessica took me under her wing and I knew he was going to be okay. I appreciate StoryPoint family from the bottom of my heart

My mom has been in the Cove memory care unit for a year and a half. The staff is excellent. I work closely with the nurses, Jessica, Janelle and the care givers to ensure mom gets the best care possible. They are amazingly accommodating, professional and caring. The facility is always clean and well kept. I highly recommend.

Story Point is wonderful! The staff is great-- caring, hard working, lots of activity for the memory care unit. Please recommend it to folks!! The only reason we moved to [community removed] was that they raised our monthly rate $[removed] which was not in accordance with our contract, which allowed a 13% increase yearly. That should have been no more than $[removed].

I truly love working with the staff and families at Story Point Cordova. Over the past six months, changes within the administration and staff have been very positive, and it’s clear the directors are always striving to improve the community. The Director of Nursing, Janelle, and the Activities Director, Jessica, are highly involved with residents and families and consistently go above and beyond to ensure compassionate, high-quality care is delivered.The entire team is committed to doing what is right for every resident—something that can be increasingly rare today. The memory care staff work tirelessly to keep residents safe, happy, and meaningfully engaged in activities. While no place is flawless, the staff at Story Point Cordova genuinely love and care about the residents they serve. Communication and coordination of care are seamless, with directors and nurses who are accessible, responsive, and supportive.

There have been many management and staff changes during the time my mother has been there. If they could bring more stability, it would make a big improvement. Short staffing has affected several areas—including the kitchen, housekeeping, and activities—leading to a lack of continuity. That said, it is a lovely place. Currently, there seems to be some unhappiness with the kitchen and menu, but I’m hopeful the new director can make improvements for both the residents and the staff. I want to emphasize that I’ve never had a bad experience with anyone there. The staff are kind and caring. However, seniors become attached to their nurses, caregivers, or even the person at the front desk, and frequent changes can be unsettling. Each transition takes time before things feel back on track. Even with these challenges, I would absolutely recommend this community—and I also recommend A Place for Mom. In fact, I already have. The morning I first received a call from your representative, I was sitting at my desk in tears, not knowing what to do. And then the phone rang—it felt almost like an angel reaching out. I can’t remember her name for certain, but I think it may have been [name removed]. She was incredibly helpful, kind, and professional. She guided me in so many ways and truly helped me hold on to my sanity and health that week.

This facility is like a large, spacious, bright hotel!! The staff are awesome: nurses and caregivers on hand 24 hours a day. Residents are treated to day trips, painting classes, live music, everything you can imaging. There no sitting around waiting to die!! Emery room is bright with sunlight and the meals are hotel quality. I'm am over the moon happy that my husband is in such a wonderful place AND he's very happy there. I've told everyone I know how much I appreciate A Place For Mom

Nice building with friendly, smiling faces. The pool and gym are nice additions to an already beautiful community. My favorite place is the area with the pinball machines. The games are nice touches to the lounge areas and allows my kids to hang and enjoy fun time with the grands.

StoryPoint Cordova is a very beautiful community with nice amenities and very pleasant staff. I am always greeted with a smile and offered the utmost hospitality. Their efforts mean the most and we truly appreciate the care.

I like the size of mom's apartment, the fact that they have a pool and a salon on site, and that she could do physical therapy on site when she needed it. I think they need to perhaps do a better job of orientation for new residents.

Very friendly nice - nice and clean facility. Apartment sizes are very nice! They offer plenty of space.
