Moved my Dad here last year. Beautiful facility and very helpful staff. It was a great decision to move him to Story Point. Apartments are very well appointed, meals are excellent. Overall facility offers so many amenities and activities for the residents.

Everyone is friendly. Food could be better, less spicy, more home cooking. Activities good, I like the trips, restaurants, music, close up parking. Too much money for a pet, and covered parking spot.

I own a Networking group called [removed name]. We have been around for 17 years. We set up a meeting at Storypoint North in Ft Wayne, IN with [removed name] to come and see the facilities and tour. Not only was the meeting great, [removed name], [removed name] + I set about to have our weekly lunch meetings at Storypoint N to give the residents something to attend, meeting some business owners in the area & it gives me the opportunity to promote Storypoint each week on social media so that others can see.
It is helping us meet the residents and the residents know we are there and welcome them if they are interested. [removed name]tries to help promote events and participate so that others get to know Storypoint N. We all feel like family now.
Thank you T[removed names] for seeing outside the box!

My dad was understandably kind of grumpy about moving out of his house, but even he has to admit this is a great place for independent living. The facility is beautiful and feels like a nice resort style hotel. The staff are first rate and get to know everyone by name and the food is very good and well presented. I stayed there for four days in a respite room myself when I was caring for him after surgery and felt quite spoiled by the comfort and food. Everything is thought of and taken care of.

I first met Tyler while touring this amazing facility. I wanted to move here because of his enthusiasm, research, and sterling representation of Story Point. I saw crisp white tablecloths and snowy white cloth napkins, noting each place in the dining room , set with china, christal and shiny silverware. Also, the facility smelled pleasantly, neat as a pin, the people who chatted with one another were nicely dressed, carefully coifed hair, makeup, jewelry and the only way to determine visitors from residents were rolling walkers for the residents. My personal background of 40 years of nursing, including care facilities, came rushing back , remembering the stale acrid odors permeating everything, nightgown clad patients in various states of disarray, staying in their rooms in bed, or slumped in wheelchairs exhibiting vacant states and clutching passersby to talk to them. At Story Point, Tyler and other staff knew everyone's name, even the spiffy young men who waited tables in the dining room, kidded and joshed sweetly calling each resident by name. An air of family was greatly palpable. Some residents played piano daily, for everyone's enjoyment.
My funds were low and I couldn't stay there. But Tyler promised to keep in touch with me until I found a facility to move to. Indeed he did keep in touch, eventually finding a way for me to happily move to Story Point.
Now friendly folks have made their way to my door to introduce themselves and welcome me. I am stopped in the hallway by cheerful introductions. Thank you, Tyler, you've paved the way for the rest of my life. Not to forget great chef prepared food, housekeeping cleaning my room every 2 weeks, sheets and towels are washed, free laundry for those who can still do their wash....at least 5 activities to attend each day, weekly bussed trips to community grocerys and variety stores. Enjoyable excursions , doctor office visits if needed. Menus with exciting selections, a bistro with comfort foods any time. Wow! This is the life! And now it's mine.

I was given my Tour by Tyler. He was very articulate, friendly and very informative. This would be a lovely place to live. Lots to do, lovely apartments, and dining as well. It felt like a vacation resort to me. Thanks to Tyler for a wonderful tour.

This place is exceptional! The activities are hands down the best I have seen anywhere. They really try to make life a thriving place for these seniors. We adore much of the staff and they welcome people like family.

StoryPoint north has such a beautiful country club feel with an incredible hometown vibe. I toured with Tracy Barse who was so good at explaining to me all the benefits of moving to StoryPoint. I didn't know there were so many options to choose from. The food was superb! They also have another location out south featuring assisted living and memory care. I'm so glad they are here for our community!

Outstanding fun time. Staff was engaged. Enjoyed the band and information. Cause marketing for the Alzheimer’s walk was very nice.
Won the wine. Just want to say that this is an amazing place. I am working with my mom to accept that this is the best option moving forward.

StoryPoint North Ft Wayne has become a home for my parents! They treat them and us like family! They are kind, compassionate, patient and available! My parents are well cared for by their children AND now friends who have embraced them completely!!

They are always very kind and helpful. Having independent and assisted living available in the same building as needed and many services included in rent like transportation, stuck out over other places.

My sister needed respite care in December after being discharged from a rehab facility and with very little lead time she was welcomed as soon as possible. She is now moved in as a permanent resident. Johanna and Sonja who coordinate services and the residences are outstanding; very personable and just great people. The staff that works with my sister treat her like family and she truly enjoys them. They are wonderful, professional people. The food is outstanding, the facility is clean and there are activities to make sure the residents stay active. Its a difficult, life changing decision but if you need assisted living for your loved one, Storypoint gets 5 stars.

StoryPoint was one of the few you recommended to my family when we began looking for an option for my dad. I'm not in the state where my dad and other two sisters are living so I did some of the legwork and had phone calls with places you recommended. At that point the situation with my dad wasn't urgent…he was living with one of my sisters, but several months later their job situation changed and we started looking again for options. My sisters visited StoryPoint and were so impressed with the location, staff, amenities, size and value. It moved very quickly because they had an opening and has been nothing but positive ever since he moved in [date removed]. In fact, he's doing better living more independently and not so concerned about being in my sister's and brother-in-law's way or living around their schedule. He's 5-10 mins from my sisters and that also has helped--he knows they're right around the corner. My dad will be 93 in a few months 🙂
