I looked everywhere to find a good place for my Mom who could no longer live in her home of 50 years. When I came to visit Governor's Village, every interaction with the staff and residents was pleasant. The food was delicious (that is more important than I realized at first) and the staff seems to really enjoy interacting with the residents. The studio room was big enough to fit all of Mom's most precious furniture to make it feel like home. There are lots of activities to keep her busy or she can rest in her room if she prefers. Many of the residents keep their doors open ready for visitors in the afternoon or walk the halls for exercise and stop to talk. This is a wonderful place! Mom is happily settled in. So far, so great!
