Excellent experience from application through day-to-day living, my mother is getting the care she needs in a clean environment with attentive staff!
I looked everywhere to find a good place for my Mom who could no longer live in her home of 50 years. When I came to visit Governor's Village, every interaction with the staff and residents was pleasant. The food was delicious (that is more important than I realized at first) and the staff seems to really enjoy interacting with the residents. The studio room was big enough to fit all of Mom's most precious furniture to make it feel like home. There are lots of activities to keep her busy or she can rest in her room if she prefers. Many of the residents keep their doors open ready for visitors in the afternoon or walk the halls for exercise and stop to talk. This is a wonderful place! Mom is happily settled in. So far, so great!

Mom has been at Governor's Village for nearly 3 years now and our family is very happy with the care and attention she receives. The staff is the best. They have daily activities for the residents and field trips throughout the year. Family members are always encouraged to participate with the residents.
My Mom has been living at Governors Village for 6 years now. I would have it no other way. The staff is courteous, helpful, loving and so attentive to her needs all of the time. The community is beautiful with the new addition and yet as big as it is...it is still so quaint and homelike. I visit every day and always feel welcome. The nurses on staff are knowledgeable and the aides are friendly and helpful. I love it there...thank you for everything that you do every day!
My association with Governor's Village goes back nearly 10 years - I have had two family members receive care there and have had close associations with others who lived there. The quality of care remains high and the quality of life experiences offered keeps getting better. I look forward to the opportunities that the newly expanded facilities will offer the residents and their families.
