Such a happy place. Nobody says "no". Everyone knows your name. Problems are settled quickly. Upper staff is easily available and listend to suggestions.

The staff is very helpful and respectful. The building and grounds are always clean and neat. This is a great place to reside the meals and activities provided are great.

We have had an amazing experience here for our mother! She loves it and we love having her here!

Staff are quick to respond. They accommodate each resident's request quickly. They are willing to let residents assist "in a pinch".

Lots of activities and things to do. Very friendly people. Nice rooms.

Beginning with my first day, I was welcomed with caring people(staff and residents). I look forward each day, content that I am here and part of a loving family and community. It is a place for this mom and everyone.

Came into the community to offer different services and see if they could utilize anything our company had to offer and the whole community was so welcoming and appreciative. The community is very clean and all the staff was approachable.

Have an Aunt that lives there now but my mother-in-law lived there until her death. Never so impressed with how they handle everyone from independent to memory care. Friendly from mechanics to the laundry, the chefs the office workers (basically everyone) they are all so nice to the residents. Very impressed with Grand Ledge Independent Village.

We are not sure about the care services yet, ,y parents will be moving in sometime this month. We are also unsure about the meals and dining, the activities (though their activity calendar looks great) or the value for cost. What really stood out to us was that it was clean and nicely decorated. The rooms were more spacious than any of the others we saw. That was important to my Mom. Our tour with [name removed] was wonderful. She was informative and friendly. We spoke with a few residents and they had nothing but positive comments.

Independence Village has a very caring attitude to residents. Staff mini bus takes a persona; interest in each resident. I was impressed that all staff knew my name the first day! Other residents report the same. I enjoy many of the available activities, but have never felt cohered to join. My daughter envies my stay here!

IV was recommended by my daughter, who is a volunteer here. I found it to be all she said it was- friendly staff, very clean, good food and enjoyable activities. It made the transition from my home seem to be the but decision. I could have mode. There is an atmosphere of "joy" of living. That feeds the soul, as well as the good food that feeds the body.

It was a fine place to be; however, I was very surprised to discover that they were charging me for several months after I left. Evidently, the contract that I signed stated that I would be responsible for payments for the full year of the contract unless they filled the room at some point. This cost me quite a lot of money and was most disturbing. Based on that, I would not recommend Independence Village to others

I have been a resident for 3 1/2 years. I appreciate the care that I receive, but sometimes when I push my call button no one shows up. I understand that can because they are always short of help. The caregivers and staff here are friendly, helpful but they need more.

The staff are friendly and are willing to accommodate knowing it's your family that is being left in their care.
