I was welcomed a great deal by all of the residents. Being accepted as newbie quickly. Exchanging backgrounds information was great. I feel like I can walk into the dining room knowing that I can sit with many people. I was secluded in my Old apartment rarely meeting anyone that wasn't medical professionals or people who worked in stores. I am so happy here and can join in on any activity throughout the week. I love it here!

We are very pleased with Story Point Grand Rapids East. The food is a huge plus from where he used to live. He loves having choices that are healthy and filling. I love the daily check in that they do just to keep tabs on the residents. Everyone we have encountered has been friendly. The overall upkeep of the facility is very clean and welcoming.

Her compassion and attention to detail made what could have been a difficult decision feel much more comfortable and reassuring. It's clear she genuinely cares about the residents and their families. Thank you for going above and beyond — your warmth made all the difference!
Since then, our experience has only reinforced that first impression. My grandmother has been so well cared for, and the entire staff has been consistently attentive, warm, and supportive. I’ve even attended a few activities with her, and I love how the team finds creative ways to make residents feel valued while keeping them active and engaged. The peace of mind knowing she is happy, safe, and respected means the world to our family.

Everyone at the 32nd St. facility is incredibly helpful and kind. They go above and beyond to make sure their residents are cared for and feel at home! They even went as far as making sure that our friends dog felt comfortable and wanted.
After taking a good look at Story Point we have convinced other family members to move there and are on the waiting list right now. You wont find a better, friendlier, more resident centric facility in GR. And it comes with a sweetheart named Betty that can brighten anyones day!

The facility is absolutely lovely, The beautification of the property is exactly what you would expect to see for the middle of summer. Flowers everywhere and great colors. I was greeted kindly when I arrived and asked to sign a check in log stating my business and the time I arrived. I very much appreciate that process is in place. I arrived early and was offered tea, coffee, or water while I waited. I was given freedom to look around the facility while I waited if I was interested in doing so. I found myself drawn to this really fun finch enclosure where you can watch the birds play. It was in the library and board game area. The facility was bright, well lit, clean, smelled great and marked with directional signs everywhere. When my scheduled time arrived for my tour I was greeted by Kristin with smiles and a welcoming handshake. She was very knowledgeable on the property and provided me with physical informational documents to take as well as information during our tour. Both the studio and one bedroom were in great condition. I appreciate that the balconies were cement not wood so it provided a safer more sturdy feeling. The dinning hall was also very impressive. The room itself had high ceilings with great architecture. Overall great trip and lots to think about.

The residents at SP East community are family. The chapel is a beautiful and the space available for leisure activities is wonderful!
