When we started looking for a place for my parents, Story Point East was top on my list. Not only due to the fact they were close to my parents current home, but for many other reasons. The minute we walked in to the facility we were greeted by residents AND every staff that came in our path. The place is clean and you can tell the residents are very happy. Kristin was beyond AMAZING giving us a tour. I love that she made us feel welcome (and the cookies were good too lol). She was thoroughly, friendly, and even dealt with my dad's humor matching it at times (bonus points). After my dad passed, we informed Kristin and she invited my mom, my daughter and I to lunch for another tour. Out of every place we visited, Story Point East offered the most choices for food options at meals. When the chef heard we were coming they even made my mom's favorite dessert. Everything tasted so good, unlike other places I've attended to visit other family members. The outside atmosphere is beautiful and my family especially loved the enclosed area so we could bring our dog to visit. Having a chapel is a perk too. There are also a lot of activities on campus and trips off campus. I highly recommend S.P East. My mom is putting down her deposit and will be moving in in the future.

The community is safe, clean and well managed by the staff who truly care about the residents. The community is more affordable than some of the other SP locations in town, but the care and attention seem just as good as the more expensive places.

I liked most it was very clean & lots of activities. They can improve on problem solving. Yes, I would recommend.

The staff is nice... consistency lags sometimes in my dads opinion. They are clean and respectful... food is good.. apartment is good and they reply to work orders well. My dad doesn't do any activities but I see they have a plethora available. Very communicative staff overall good!

The apartment for my mother-in-law is exactly what she needed. They have more daily activities than she expected. We now have to schedule time with her.

I was welcomed a great deal by all of the residents. Being accepted as newbie quickly. Exchanging backgrounds information was great. I feel like I can walk into the dining room knowing that I can sit with many people. I was secluded in my Old apartment rarely meeting anyone that wasn't medical professionals or people who worked in stores. I am so happy here and can join in on any activity throughout the week. I love it here!

I have been a resident since [date removed] in the cottages (condos) until moving to main bldg in [date removed] have been very helpful and welcoming.

I'm really happy here- have only been here a little over 2 months. Still feeling my way but, it was a great choice!

I feel safe and supported in the community. I feel at home and enjoy my neighbors.

Staff from administrative down one very helping and supportive when you need assistance in need questions answered. Care is excellent are freely given. I gave no complaint except I seem to he getting allow.

We are very pleased with Story Point Grand Rapids East. The food is a huge plus from where he used to live. He loves having choices that are healthy and filling. I love the daily check in that they do just to keep tabs on the residents. Everyone we have encountered has been friendly. The overall upkeep of the facility is very clean and welcoming.

I recently toured this facility for my grandmother, and I was incredibly impressed with the experience. [name removed] did a fantastic job - she was not only knowledgeable and thorough, but also exceptionally kind and caring throughout the entire process. Her compassion and attention to detail made what could have been a difficult decision feel much more comfortable and reassuring. It's clear she genuinely cares about the residents and their families. Thank you for going above and beyond — your warmth made all the difference! Since then, our experience has only reinforced that first impression. My grandmother has been so well cared for, and the entire staff has been consistently attentive, warm, and supportive. I’ve even attended a few activities with her, and I love how the team finds creative ways to make residents feel valued while keeping them active and engaged. The peace of mind knowing she is happy, safe, and respected means the world to our family.

Atmosphere is great and [name removed] seems fine there. [name removed] room is small but he does not complain about it. I wish the location was closer to where I live but it's ok.

The leadership team and support you recieve at SP East is one of a kind! The residents at SP East community are family. The chapel is a beautiful and the space available for leisure activities is wonderful!

Story Point has been a comforting home for our Mom. Its smaller community makes it easier for her to remember faces and get to know the other residents. They have many opportunities for socializing, offer chapel services on Sunday, and the staff recognize her by name and encourage her to be involved. My mom feels comfortable and at home in her apartment at Storypoint!
