Why Residents And Their Families Love Heritage Hill

Heritage is a warm welcoming experience. The staff went out of their wat to be accomodating and to make me comfortable. The food is great and the activities are fun. the food is great and the activities are fun. where else can you go and have someone give you coffee at 7am on your counter.

I come here a couple times a week. The care lighta are answered quickly. The staff treat the residents as if they were their own family and they are super friendly to residents family members and each other.

My parents (aged 95 and 97) moved into Heritage Hill almost 6 months ago. This was a big change for them, and for me as their daughter (myself being a retired RN) but we have been very pleased with both the homey atmosphere and the caring staff at HH. From our first tour to "gather information," the leadership team and caregiver staff have been extremely helpful in many ways--even the housekeeping and maintenance people are very personable and ready to jump in and assist when needed. When my father passed away very suddenly (2 days short of his 98th birthday!) the entire staff went out of their way to accommodate our family wishes regarding his ER experience. They also gave my mother additional TLC during her initial adjustment to this "new chapter," and more recently have facilitated us bringing Mom along for a 12-hour excursion for a family wedding 100 miles away. The motto of "We feel like family" is becoming a reality in our experience here!

My mom moved into thd Memory Unit at Heritage Hill in Caro 20 months ago. It's definitely a 5 Star facility. The staff is fun, compassionate, and loving to all of the residents there. There's always something fun going on for the residents to enjoy. Once a month there's a bus trip to fun destinations like a Tigers Game, Veterans Museum, Art Museum, and out to lunch at great restaurants. Recently PT and OT moved into the facility which has been wonderful for the residents. The food is outstanding with Chef [removed name] at the helm and I never hear complaints. The Christmas dinner menu for residents and their families thus year is like dining at a gourmet restaurant! The vibe is it's 'homey, family, and neighborhood', you feel that when you walk in. We couldn't be happier about having our mom there!
