Experience Award-Winning Senior Living at Danbury in Hudson, Ohio

The Danbury of Hudson is very nice and the staff is so welcoming and helpful in putting me in my family at ease keeping my Mother safe!

My mother and I recently looked at Danbury as an option for her. She opted for the nearby sister building, Springwood, and its independent living, but we were both so impressed with Danbury and are happy to have it there should the need for more assisted living arise down the road. Madison was so helpful and kind in showing us around and answering our questions, and the rest of the staff seemed topnotch. The building is beautiful with wonderful amenities, including the restaurant, and the location in Hudson is hard to beat—quiet and peaceful and surrounded with nature. What a wonderful community!

Lovely facility; friendly and helpful staff; nursing staff is responsive. Adequate room size; convenient amenities (phone, television), including library, hair salon.

Currently in transition. had a team meeting to address concerns and tips to help our mother + team adjust. We are comfortable and relieved knowing she is in a safe professional environment. The social activities are excellent. Their patience with the residents is beautiful. The whole team are beautiful with their interactions with the residents..

I visited 5 different places before moving Mom to Danbury Senior Living in Hudson in February of 2024. As soon as we walked in the door, we could feel the energy and the positive chemistry... Staff smiling at residents as they pass in the hall, asking after them by name... a resident approached us at lunch to give us the "skinny" on the place, about how much he likes it there. The staff clearly care about the residents, and the residents respond. There are numerous and varied engaging activities, including art, live music, bingo, trivia contests, axe throwing, scrabble and dominoes, lunch outings, special holiday meals, and Mon-Fri seated exercise that's accessible to all - and they make it so much fun!The food... the FOOD! I've tried institutional food at many care facilities, and Tim and staff top the chart. During the pandemic, Tim had to develop his own soup recipes since canned soup was in short supply... and he's taken it over the top. DON'T MISS THE SOUP! The dining room is open all day long - you are not restricted to timed seatings - and guests are welcome even if you don't call ahead to reserve. The fish and chips is deep-fried PERFECTLY. Dad loves the omelets. And the waitstaff are friendly, engaged, and caring.Mom had dementia and was wheelchair bound. She was gregarious, and needed socialization. I cannot stress enough how much this community embraced her, and she, them. The synergy in the facility - the general staff, the management, the caregivers and nurses, and the RESIDENTS! - helped immeasurably to help Mom live her best possible life during the last 8 months before she passed away in October 2024.

Great assisted living facility.

My mother started out staying at Danbury of Hudson on A respite stay. After her 30 stay, she soon became to enjoy her time there more, and more with the other residents, staff, and extra curricular activities.

In search of a place for aging relatives, my husband and I toured Danbury. What a beautiful facility in a tranquil location. There are many activities and the resident that we spoke to said the food is very good. I would highly recommend you check it out. Kaycee, who showed us around, was so pleasant and professional to talk to.

My mom is a current resident at Danbury Hudson and she receives wonderful care. The new Executive Director truly cares about the patients, families and their experience. She works at the bedside and behind the scenes.I am thankful for the care they provide for my mother.

We have been thoroughly impressed with every aspect of Danbury, From the very first visit to now 7 months later we could not be happier. They all are such a blessing to our mother and our family.

Staff is always kind & friendly and anytime I need anything there is always someone to help!
