Exceptional Senior Living With Personalized Support

A year and a half ago, my parents moved to StoryPoint Johnson City. The facility is beautiful, and always clean-they even go all out to decorate for every holiday! The sense of community is amazing as activities are planned daily, and the residents don’t just stay cooped up in their rooms. They invite families to join the StoryPoint Johnson City family at events throughout the year. The food is delicious, healthy, and beautifully presented. But the most important thing is the staff. Everyone who works there is amazing! They know the residents by name, serve them with love, and pray for them. We have been so pleased that now my in-laws reside there too!

This is a place my dad can call home. When he first arrived nearly a year ago, he didn’t want to be involved in any activity that they provided; he just wanted to give up. Within a few months, the staff made him feel like he was part of the family, and he began to become more involved, and his spirits were lifted. He was doing great and playing bingo weekly, participating in church and weekly devotions, and it all came to a halt when he slipped and fell and broke his neck. He had to be placed in a rehabilitation facility locally, and the care was not good at all. The residents made a huge poster with everyone’s picture on it, including the staff. A couple of nurses from StoryPoint Johnson City visited him on their own time and ended up showering him, changing his bed that was filthy, and putting clean clothes on him. The hair stylist from StoryPoint Johnson City even came and cut his hair. Those were the worst 3 weeks my dad had been through. Everyone wanted him back at StoryPoint Johnson City, and they were able to make that happen and do therapy there. I can’t say enough about this place. It is definitely a place where God’s presence is felt, and the staff definitely cares for the residents. There is no other place like this, and I have searched around and even had my father stay for short stays elsewhere. This is truly a great home for anyone who is looking for that extra help for their loved ones. Thank you to everyone at StoryPoint Johnson City for all you do!!

My husband has been at StoryPoint Johnson City for 5 months. He has dementia and Parkinson’s. Friends and family who visit always comment on how nice the facility is. It is truly one of the nicest I have seen, but the very best part of StoryPoint Johnson City is the people who work there. They truly care for each person living there and go out of their way to make them comfortable in any way. Anything I have asked for, they have immediately provided. I go twice a day and am always greeted by everyone as I pass. I consider them my family and enjoy talking with them and learning about their families. I look forward to seeing them each day. I would highly recommend StoryPoint Johnson City.

StoryPoint Johnson City is absolutely the best assisted living facility! Since moving in April 2021, our family has been impressed with the nursing staff and the resident assistants. There are a variety of activities for the residents to participate in on a daily basis, plus many community-related activities for families to engage in throughout the year. The building and grounds are lovely, and we always feel welcome when we visit. The biggest draw has been the community aspect and hearing our family speak of new friends all the time. We are proud to have become a part of the StoryPoint Johnson City family.
