I lived in the Danbury Independent Living for 5 years before I came here. I feel good living in the assisted living. I like that It is all on one floor. [name removed] in activities does a great job and keeps the place decorated nicely.

I have enjoyed my experience so far. I have met some very nice people. The staff all have the same idea in mind of what they are doing and I like seeing that. I enjoy watching the staff work together.

This is a good place to be when its time to make a move. I toured 3 or 4 other places and chose Danbury because of the courtyard, the spaciousness of building. It's a very nice community.

I'm very happy living at Danbury. I like the entertainment that they offer and I enjoy playing bingo. The staff are always good to me and call me by my name.

. I would say a 4- 5 on everything except food & expense. Mom complains about the dinner meals but says breakfast & lunch are great. The cost is comparable to other facilities, but long term care for the elderly is just outrageous!

My mom was there they took care of her my mom is in memory care but has some mental illness all her life we feared that they would call us all the time with issues and they did not only when it was most important and they had one contact "me" they did not share information with others they were very professional they handled her very well and they loved her. We simply moved her because it was closer to her doctors her family and friends and me as caregiver it was just too far for me to travelOur experience with Danbury respite care was nothing but great. the staff, the care, the food, the amenities, the activities were all wonderful. they loved Mom. It was a great transition from Mom's Hospital stay to Danbury thanks to Danbury

They are wonderful there. You feel the difference between them and other Senior assisted living places as soon as you walk in the door. The staff, from the Director down to the food servers, are so friendly and vibrant. That makes all the difference when one must be away from their home for awhile. My husband was there for Respite care after a surgery. I credit his happiness with his surroundings as being key to his, faster than expected, recovery. Can't say enough good things about The Massillon Danbury.

When it comes to Danbury, I really could leave a chapter book for a review. The staff are wonderful in every department. They go the extra mile and really care about the residents, they’ve become an extension of our family through our time in the community. We always feel welcome and comfortable on our visits. When it comes to engaging activities my relative really adores the musicians that come in and preform, the "Hoot Club" is one activity she always looks forward to! She often talks about a wacky water tube game they played while wearing silly glasses with the mustaches on them. She cracks up about it every time we visit! Their level of care is attentive, committed, loving, empathetic and compassionate. The nursing staff works well together as a team and spread smiles around all throughout the day. The dietary staff always seem to get it right too. My relative really enjoys breakfast and coffee and they’re always making sure she gets her sunny eggs and cup o’ joe to start the morning right! Our family is extremely grateful for the care our relative receives and just want to say a big THANK YOU and God Bless to our Danbury family. You give us peace of mind when we are away.

I do volunteer work at many facilities. Danbury Massillon is the best one I have experienced. When I walk in, there is a positive energy, it is clean, and the hallways are wide and well lighted. The staff is very professional and welcoming. I’m thinking good selection and training. There’s always activities occurring. I have been told by residents how much they appreciate being there. Heard that more than once and totally unsolicited. That speaks volumes. I am glad that I get there often and get to help when I can. Thank you.

The young man, [name removed], in marketing was very helpful very nice! Activities director was A+!Caregivers were a C- .Director of nursing and executive director, a C. First couple of weeks there they lost my husband's walker and never found it the months that he continued to be there. They gave him other walkers but they were different sizes different shapes, different heights and during that time he fell a lot. They also lost quite a few pieces of his clothing even though I had them labeled. Food is a B+. Communication with staff C+ to B-.

I recently had the opportunity to meet the team at Danbury Massillon, including the Executive Director and Jordan. They are kind, professional, and clearly committed to running the community with care. It’s reassuring to see how much they value the well-being of the residents. I left with a great impression and confidence that the community is in good hands 🙂

I am a nurse that has the opportunity to care for patients in their home. So many of my patients reside at Danbury Massillon. The continuity of care that they provide to their residents is so important. But more important for me to do my job, they provide excellent communication with me and my coworkers. Facilty is clean and bright, so welcoming.
