Staff is very friendly and readily available. When my mother was just moving in they gave her extra attention so she acclimated to the living experience.

We had the wonderful opportunity to visit Danbury Mentor today in celebration of Nurses Appreciation and offer complimentary massages. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, everything was spotless, and the residents appeared genuinely happy and well cared for. My mom has been in Danbury Senior Living Mentor for almost a year and we couldn’t be happier. The entire staff from administrative to clinical to support are there for one purpose: to ensure the well-being and care of loved ones.Everyone has shown true care and compassion for my mom, and I am so appreciative. I know she is cared for when I can’t be there - there are so many activities throughout the day my mom stay's active and engaged. Plus the food is amazing!I highly recommend Danbury if your loved one is in need of consistent and constant care.

It was very difficult for our family to put my mother in a nursing home. We looked at several other facilities in the area before setting up a visit at Danbury. The administration and staff have been tremendous throughout the entire process. We are extremely pleased with our decision and very grateful to have my mom at Danbury.

People always say that family should care for their elder relatives and I used to believe that comment. To be honest, that may not be the best care for your loved one. I believe my Mom and I have found a “new family” to us, Danbury. I feel like they are my family taking wonderful, loving care of my Mom. My father has been there since The end of November 2024. The care he gets is fantastic. He enjoys the live entertainment often, many of the activities and movies. The food is great. It’s been a hard transition to full time assisted living but, Danbury has made it easier. Thank you very much.

I am very pleased with the care my mom receives at Danbury. She is well taken care of and the care staff is far,far superior to other care communities. They treat the residents with kindness and respect. The facility is clean, the food is good … but most of all my mom is happy and I know that she is in the best place.

We chose this facility for our mom after terrible experiences at two other local facilities. Danbury of Mentor is far superior. The staff takes pride in their work, they are caring and certainly know how to deal with dementia clients in the memory care. From the minute, we walked in the door to explore moving our father there in [dates removed] we have had very positive experiences with all of the employees. From administration to laundry care. Always a kind word most all of them know my father‘s name many of them know my name. He has a very nice well-kept spacious room and he looks forward to meal time. There’s a large selection on the menu and they have special dishes every day also. He has enjoyed the food very much and the fact that the dining room is open from 7 AM to 7 PM and he can go anytime he likes instead of scheduled meal times. The layout of the rooms, the layout of the building the amenities, such as a pub, a bistro, a therapy room being able to watch birds in an aviary and fish and a fish tank are all things he takes advantage of. The hallways are very nice width so people with wheelchairs can pass comfortably going opposite directions. I have nothing but praise for Danberry Mentor!

My father has only been here a short time so I can’t really say a lot. We are very happy with the care and how fast they respond. He was in a different facility before Danbury and we were not happy with how long it took for them to respond amongst other things. His room is a good size and convenient for him as he is in a wheelchair and can only use his right arm. His room is well equipped with safety equipment and he is very happy with it. They seem to have a lot of activities and live entertainment. The food seems to be pretty good also. The facility is clean, nicely decorated, has a lot of amenities, it has a fish tank and an aviary, the birds are pretty and fun to watch. They have many sitting areas and the staff is friendly and very helpful if you have questions.

If you're looking for a warm, caring home for your senior loved one, Danbury Mentor is an excellent choice! The staff is truly dedicated, from the welcoming reception team to the directors, activity coordinators, nurses, and aides, and a wonderful chef. We explored numerous options in the Mentor area to find a place with a genuine at-home atmosphere, and this one stands out by far. My mother-in-law has been there since September, and we couldn't be happier!

Nice facility clean friendly staff. Food is not the best that it could. Be could definitely use better food selections.

Danbury provides excellent care. My needs are met by aides, nursing therapy's staff and administrative staff. Activities are numerous and keep the mind, body engaged.
