I have been at Danbury Mentor for 4 years, and love being here! When I walked in I knew it was home. Being able to bring my cat was the big plus to move in.

Danbury could not be any better in terms of service and care for my wife. The staff is very caring and accommodating. The facility is sparkling clean and a friendly place!

A heartfelt thank you for the birthday party you folks turned into a gala for Mom’s 101st. It was special. Although she'll tell you her age is between 70 and 80, she'll celebrate any age and shine right up to such attention. She is doing well thanks to all of you. You all do such a fine job.

The entire staff has been so welcoming since I moved in. There isn't one thing I can think of to complain about. The food has been great, with plenty of options. The aides have been so attentive to my every need.

They take very good care of me here at Danbury. All the employees are very kind and are always able to help when I need it.

My wife and I have been here since Monday, the day I had my surgery. The nurse has been very helpful in making me comfortable. They made an ice pack for me, brought some towels, and assisted in changing my dressing. They also took good care of my wife, dressed her, and gave her medication. The food was good.

Danbury was the fourth facility my friend has lived in since October, and by far the best. Kind, caring, and compassionate staff. The food is good with a great selection. The facility and rooms are kept clean. There is entertainment, and everyone is helpful, kind, and respectful.

Everyone here is very nice and attentive. I enjoyed going down for the entertainment. The food was good and the aides were caring, helpful, and nice. I got along with the nurses well. Overall, I enjoyed my time here and would recommend Danbury to anyone.

Mara is truly a pleasure to work with. She leads tours with a calm, welcoming approach that makes the whole experience feel comfortable and easy. She takes her time, answers questions thoughtfully, and never makes you feel rushed. Her kindness and genuine care really stand out, and you can tell she wants the best for the families she’s helping. She’s a wonderful asset to the community.

The facility is equipped with staff 24/7 which my father needed. He is doing well in the facility and the staff is friendly and supportive, which gives me piece of mind. He seems to be settling in nicely and participates in some of the activities. I would definitely recommend this facility to friends and family.

Jennifer (LPN) and Ava (receptionist) both very helpful. Care provided seems exceptional!!! Aide taking people to dining room both humorous and attentive!!! Only noted need…. It was VERY icy outside and no attempt noted to clean ice or distribute salt for everyone’s safety when entering. Otherwise, thank you for the great work!!! His blessings!!!

Staff is very friendly and readily available. When my mother was just moving in they gave her extra attention so she acclimated to the living experience.

We had the wonderful opportunity to visit Danbury Mentor today in celebration of Nurses Appreciation and offer complimentary massages. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, everything was spotless, and the residents appeared genuinely happy and well cared for. Thank you for all you do for the community and for your dedication to helping others!

I am very pleased with the care my mom receives at Danbury. She is well taken care of and the care staff is far,far superior to other care communities. They treat the residents with kindness and respect. The facility is clean, the food is good … but most of all my mom is happy and I know that she is in the best place.
