One of the most striking things about Danbury is the commitment of the staff to treating each resident with dignity, kindness, and respect. It is obvious that great effort is taken to provide a clean comfortable atmosphere, good food, and attention to the physical and emotional needs of residents. Also, the staff is very willing to work with families on how to best care for their loved one. While it is difficult to release the care of a family member to someone else, Danbury made this process much easier for us.

The staff are great. They respond quickly to calls. The facility is clean, welcoming, and smells great. The food is very good. I don’t eat meat and they accommodate that with no problems. I enjoy all the activities. They make sure I get to any appointments I have. We also have outings which I enjoy. I also enjoy the fitness programs as well as movie nights.

From our first inquiry to our loved one being admitted-the process was smooth and the staff very attentive and caring! The follow up post admission has been wonderful also.I would highly recommend Danbury Senior Living - Outstanding facility!

Danbury is very clean and the staff is super responsive. The residents also seem quite satisfied with living here. The location in the rolling hills of Ohio Amish country is quite nice. Would recommend.

Clean, friendly, and beautiful facility! We are into week one of having my Aunt in their care so we are still processing & figuring things out. She enjoys the meals.

If you have to have a loved one confined to a memory care unit at an assisted living facility, Danbury Millersburg has to be about as good as it gets. My first impressions of the physical facility and the staff’s competence were quite favorable. Danbury has an attractive floor plan with an exceptional amount of natural light, high ceilings, favorable decorations and related accoutrements. There is no hint of an offensive aroma and all areas were well- kept and clean. The staff was friendly, attentive and cooperative. While the administrative side of admission is at best demanding, we found the process to be timely and professionally completed. Most importantly however, our mother seems to be in a better place emotionally with a bit less loneliness and confusion. We attribute this to the Danbury activities and the staff’s attention to a consistent routine as well as answers to our prayers for a pleasant and understanding environment.

The staff in the main building have been extremely supportive. The facilities are in excellent condition. Even though my parents live in a villa, they often go up to have lunch or dinner in the main facility. They have made a lot of friends! I have heard nothing but wonderful comments from my parents. I highly recommend this community.

It's an excellent facility. [names removed] are very responsive. Staff professional and friendly. Nice range of activities available. A small point deduction: it would help if there was a pamphlet or booklet to tell family members what they were responsible for.

The only thing difficult about giving this review, is not being able to come up with enough superlatives. In looking for independent living, we looked over a great portion of Ohio. After visiting 8 to 10 facilities, this one was the most friendly, the most welcoming, and offered all of the things we were looking for. Since we moved in, everyone and I do mean everyone, has been open and receiving us with open arms. This goes for all staff and all residents. No matter what a person's role is, there is always a smile on their face. As a couple who live in the independent living area, we have been encouraged and have participated in many of the events and activities that are being offered for all residents here. We would highly recommend Danbury of Millersburg! Excellent!

Outstanding! My mother loves Danbury Millersburg. The social interactions and activities have been wonderful. She enjoys the old and new friends everyday.

The care and well-being of the residents come first, definite priority. The residents are treated with respect. The staff goes above and beyond to make the residents feel at home. The administrators are always avaliable to help and answer questions.

Danbury Millersburg has been a very good placement for my Mom. The facility is clean, food is good, and staff is friendly. We are confident that Mom is safe there.

My mother is on her second stay at Danbury Millersburg. She did a rehab stay after an injury several years ago, which went very well, so when we were looking for an assisted living facility it made so much sense to start with Danbury. They were able to meet our needs, with very nice facilities, excellent food and a warm, caring staff. All right near home in Holmes County, where should could keep her existing doctors / nurses / therapists, her existing pharmacy, still go to our home church and see all her friends as a lifetime county resident.
