My mother sees Danbury as her home with staff as family and friends among the residents. She often comments about how lucky she is to be at Danbury. The facility is high end and friends who visit her are amazed at its beauty and how it is well kept.

My mother has been at Danbury for about 4 years. She was more than hesitant to leave her home to move into assisted living. But what she has found is a new home where the staff shows genuine care and love. She says that Danbury is her home and where she wants to live the rest of her life.

The facility is beautifully decorated well maintained, the nursing staff is skilled, carrying and available. The food service is most excellent in the variety and taste. The service staff from meal service to cleaning service and maintenance service are all kind and do an excellent job in meeting the needs of the residents. The receptionist and support staff are all helpful and caring. But most notably, it's a place that there are relationships with the staff and the residence that are sincere, supportive, and caring. It is a peace to my mind know that my parents are so well taken care of.

The staff and residents all seemed very happy and the place was very bright and clean. I was impressed on how the leadership new all the staff and residents names as we toured. This was very impressive!

Nice facility Very informative [Name removed] did a great job showing us around the facility and answered all of our questions. She introduced us to many of the staff members and residents. We were invited to stay for a meal and met the chef who talked with us. It was a great visit!

Our mother has been a resident at Danbury Mount Vernon since shortly after it opened. I cannot express enough our gratitude to the staff at Danbury for the loving care that they provide. The management group, kitchen staff, aides, maintenance - everyone who has responsibility for mom - all treat her with loving care and respect. We as a family have complete confidence in the care being provided. The Danbury staff has become an extension of our family, and we are so grateful for each of them.

The facility was very clean. Amazing housekeeping. Meals were plentiful . I felt guilty putting him in assisted living until I found out he was refusing the assistance he needed like he was for me. He said he could take care of himself. Amazing nurses on staff dispensing medicine. And relating to husband.

I was satisfied even though my husband was denying any problem. Having him here helped me see that Danbury had same problems that I did when we were home. Refusal to do self hygiene and being uncooperative

With consistent communication and oversight, residents can receive the level of care, dignity, and comfort they deserve.

Best facility ever. Moving my mom in, staff is so supportive. We had a chance to try the food which was really good.

I was able to do an event at Danbury in Mount Vernon recently and I must say the facility was very tidy and clean. Staff was very pleasant and the folks living there seemed happy and content.

Danbury Mt. Vernon is my first choice for my wife. The facility is beautifully designed and decorated. The dining room is bright and cheery. The Chef, [Name Removed] plans and prepares delicious and healthy meals. Life Enrichment Director,[Name Removed] plans and oversees activities, scenic drives, shopping trips, and special events for families to enjoy time with their loved one. The smiles on the resident and Danbury staff is infectious. The social interaction and friendships between the residents and Danbury Staff is just outstanding! I enjoy the comfort knowing my loved one is being cared for with loving hands and loving hearts. Danbury Mt. Vernon is my First Choice.
