My experience has been great! I know that this is where I'm meant to be. I'm going to be 94 years old and to be in a community where you feel included and like family is a great feeling. Plenty of things to do, plenty of people to talk to and great food.

I can actually say that Danbury is constantly keeping us busy with very helpful and delightful activities. All the personnel are kind and loving. The meals and extra treats are amazing. The activities are led by awesome personnel.

I've been here for 2 years. I like it a lot. I was living by myself and its fun here. I made friends and always have something to do. I like when we go shopping too. Everyone is very nice. I'm 94 years old and I love it.

This place is beautiful, warm, spotless, and full of gentle light. There are fun activities every day and the food is wonderful (the butternut squash bisque is amazing!). Most of all, the staff are pure heart. You feel their kindness the moment you walk in. Every smile and little gesture is all about making your loved one feel truly cherished. It feels like family taking care of family.

From the initial visit to the exit the staff were wonderful to my mom. Think of living in a wall stepped hotel and service is the order of the day. Food activities and people who enjoy the company of each other.

The staff is pleasant. Mom is safe and has plenty of things to do and have two meals a. All with keeping her independent and autonomy.

We toured with our family member and Amber was knowledgeable, kind, and able to have great conversations about what can be a really hard transition. The facilities are beautiful, the staff we met were friendly, and felt really comfortable with our family member here.

We recently relocated my dad from his home in Texas to an apartment at Danbury North Canton. From the very first interaction with the excellent staff at Danbury, we were convinced this was a good fit for my dad. Dad gets to maintain a desired level of independence, and we get the peace of mind knowing he is in a safe, friendly, and helpful environment. We have been so impressed and appreciative of how kind and cheerful ALL of the staff are. They go the extra mile for the residents and my dad has felt warmly welcomed into this community. The extra services that are available on location, such as doctor’s visits, haircuts, housekeeping, and meals, also make life easier for dad as he begins to feel some of the limitations of his age and health. Not to mention the robust life enrichment calendar of activities and social opportunities. Overall the transition into the Danbury community has been overwhelmingly positive.

My mother has been there for almost 2 years and so impressed and comfortable with the consistency of how they take care of their tenants and how responsive if there is an occasional issue which are few and far between. They cultivate such a caring environment and that is very important to our family. It starts with [name removed] and trickles down to the great staff that she has built.So impressed with this leadership! Keep it up [name removed]! You are all Amazing!

Basically I'd give Danbury Independent Living of North Canton a 4 on all the categories above. The biggest complaint is the food per the residents, but I think that's standard at most facilities d/t the restrictions seniors may have for dietary guidelines/concerns.

The staff at Danbury is always helpful and go above and beyond in departments. I do have some concerns about the rent increases of the last 2 years.

The social experience is very well between the variety of activities offered and the vibrant atmosphere in the dining room from staff and residents.

Welcoming, friendly, easy, clean and beautiful! Caring staff with a good attitude. Lots of places to wonder outside for fresh air or a neighborhood to talk to. A safe environment but not confining. Wonderful food!

Staff is awesome. Activities are great. My mom is in the best possible place she can be. Thank you Danbury.

Everyone from housekeeping to the Executive Director is friendly, professional and helpful. Programming, including piano concert, cooker tournaments, outings and is geared toward residents' satisfaction. Residents themselves friendly and more than willing to make you part of their Danbury community.
