[name removed]has been a resident in memory care for over two years and I couldn’t be more happy of the care she has gotten. The staff is so wonderful and treats everyone like family. The food is a little questionable at times but mostly very good. At times during meal times they are a little under staffed. This is the best facility in the whole area. [name removed]

I'm very pleased with all the staff at the facility. My in laws are settling in nicely. I don't think we could have found a nicer place

The staff was welcoming and upbeat. They strive to keep people engaged, and used Life loop for family members

My mom has been at Provision a little over a year and she is thriving! I would highly recommend sending families in need of care for their loved ones here....they take the time to explain any and all questions one has....they are not pushy...they allow you to "breathe" through the process...they ALWAYS return any emails or phone calls ....my mom was in really bad shape when she entered into their care....within a month she had gained weight and was thriving! I believe that placing her with the staff saved her life! I am so grateful to them for the care she receives which has allowed me to be able to try and gain back some sense of normalcy in my own life! I will be forever grateful for ALL of the staff!!!

Nicole was very helpful and informative while dealing with a tough situation. I appreciated her honesty and helpfulness during my tour. Would highly recommend this facility for anyone’s loved ones.

The staff here take great care of my mom and really seem to enjoy her sense of humor. Activities are great as well.

Honestly, I don't remember getting any feedback regarding the meals. Also, we didn't get involved in the activities but I knew a good deal was going on. In regards to the cost, I don't know what the judge that on as we did not have any similar experiences previously. Overall, my father was quite pleased with the facility and the staff

All are a 5. What our family likes the most about Provision Living is the staff. The staff has been great, tends to all my dad's needs. They have a lot of activities for him if he chooses to do them. He likes his meals. Based on the experience we have had, we would definitely recommend this community to other families.

Nicole was very helpful and compassionate. She was very throughal in her questions and answers. Great tour and experience. Now to convince our parents..

My mother couldn't be in better hands. Director Janna Ritter finds the balance between the care that is needed yet never wanted. She expresses herself as a professional while maintaining a down to earth persona. Her staff is very open to family visits and always forthcoming with any information I have ever requested. In my opinion my mom couldn't be in better hands than those at Provision Assisted Living in Oshtemo!! Bravo to staff and leadership!!!

My family found Provision Living-Oshtemo about a year and a half ago. Our mother was in a different Memory Care facility which we worried was not adequate for her care. We wondered about moving her at this late stage of her life. But we were so impressed with our interactions with Provision staff and our observations of the facility that we decided to go forward. This was the best thing we could have done for Mother.We experienced Provision Living as a community dedicated to care and compassion. Staff understood and supported the transitions Mother experienced as her condition declined. They were knowledgeable, kind, and helpful. I appreciated that caregivers were resident-oriented, giving mother options and choices despite her limitations. And to get basic, everything was clean – public areas, individual living spaces, clothing – and the residents well-groomed.When looking at care facilities, size matters. I think that Provision is just the right size, large enough to be professionalized, but small enough for the Director to be aware and involved in day-to-day happenings and resident concerns. Very important to us was the clear and consistent communication coming from Janna, facility Director. We always knew what was happening at Provision, including the many special events, related to holidays, seasons, or just having some fun. (Last Christmas was amazing!) Communication was so important, given that this was new territory for us in the family. Janna also answered her email and followed up on phone messages. Darkisha, Director of Nursing, was aware of Mother’s condition and always willing to provide input and answer questions.In Mother’s last days, at 95 years old, Hospice and Provision coordinated her care. We will always be grateful that she spent this time in her life at Provision Living.

- March 2024 - (adding to the review that we did in January before my parents moved in) we were very excited about the opportunity to have my mom & dad stay close by at Provision Living in Oshtemo. It has fully met our expectations, and has even gone above and beyond. All of the staff have been wonderful, and the personal care that has been exhibited has been exceptional.Darkisha, and the medical staff she runs have been on top of everything and made sure that both our parents get all the care that they need. All of the front office staff have been accommodating and quickly respond to any needs or unusual situations. There are also an array of activities that they can participate in. They love the movies and the treat cart the most, but also do chair yoga, exercise circles, go on outings and can have easy access to their car when needed.My dad has been very excited about the food and doesn't miss a meal. It is all served restaurant style with lots of choices. My mom loves the food too but her memory issues have her missing a few meals from time to time. But the staff has helped work with us to make sure she gets adequate nutrition.The room/appartment itself has been really nice. We brought in a lot of familiar items to make it feel like home and within one week my parents were both stating how happy they were with their new home. This is also one of the few places who would allow them to keep their cat, and this has helped with the transition and feeling of homeyness.We had our one month review today and getting the information from the high tech sensors that help pick up activity, restlessness, breathing, heart rates, walking skills, and other elements was amazing. While the images are heat sensor images so you can't see any faces. It's great to see how much important information this provides on their activity and healthy living. We absolutely love-love-love the AI sensors!We remain confident that we made the absolute best decision for our family with Provision Living.- Jan 2024 - We are considering multiple senior care facilities for my parents who are both in their nineties and would benefit from an assisted living environment. We toured Provision Living yesterday with Nicole Matthews to learn what they offer. Nicole did an outstanding job of providing insight into what Provision Living can offer and the points of difference that make this a top candidate for us.For example they offer care at many levels, from those who need only a light amount of care, to assisted living with help bathing, dressing and personal function needs. They also include medication management, great food choices, lots of activities, a great library, theater and more. Importantly they also offer memory care in the same facility so if needed a simple room change can accommodate this need rather than a disruptive move to a new place with new staff.The facility itself is new, light and airy with many garden and outdoor views. Advanced technology like fall detection is a BIG point of difference that adds value, since my dad has fallen a few times in the past year. Every staff member we met or came across was pleasant and helpful.We are considering three locations at this time. Here, Nazareth (St. Joseph) and Friendship Village. The cost is high but so are the benefits. Yet the cost here is not as high as some other choices. I will repost an update once a final choice is completed.Special thanks to Nicole for being so helpful, candid and up front on all topics. She was amazing to deal with and is a big part of why we are leaning towards Provision Living.
