at Independence Village of Oxford (Waterstone)

I toured the Assisted Living facility at Independent Village and was very impressed. The Sales Mgr, Josh, was outstanding in his role with residents and his knowledge of the facility. He showed a genuine interest in learning about my mom and what her needs and interests are.

Events love the musicians. Busy. Busy something is almost always going on. Activities.

Excellence.

Transport to doctors, grocery stores and special events are so appreciated. Actitives for holidays events are often and the leaders are fantastic. helping and friendly. The staff are the best.

We toured the facility twice with Josh. He was very informative and personable. It was nice to see that he knew and chatted with residents in the hallways and diningroom, even after he'd made "the sale".

I went on a tour with my parents and we were all so impressed!! Josh was so informative and everyone was so friendly. My parents have been here now 6 months and have made many new friends. They are always talking about the wonderful meals too

We had my dad look at Independence Village of Oxford after my mom passed away so he wouldn’t be by himself and it was by far the nicest place we looked at! We looked at a few before this one and he was not interested but as soon as we entered this place it felt like a warm welcoming place! He has been there for about 2 1/2 years and it has been a positive experience! He is very comfortable there and the staff go above and beyond in everything that they do for the residents! I can’t say enough good things about Independence Village Oxford! Your loved ones will be well taken care of and they always have something for everyone to do! Thank you again for everything you do! This facility was so easy to work with as far as understanding price, policies etc. Our mother always comments on how kind and helpful ALL the staff is. The move went very well and the community has engaging and fun activities. The food is excellent! Our family loves to go and dine with her. The facility is clean, beautiful , and maintenance updated consistently. We are very thankful for Independence Village- Waterstone!

I can’t think of a better place for my mother to have moved than to Independence Village. At 99 years old and having lost my dad 11 years ago, it was apparent she had to move closer to us and out of her condo in Florida. She loved her home and friends but summers were hot and lonely, she was too far away, no longer driving and hurricanes were becoming more prevalent. I stumbled on Independence Village at a Chamber of Commerce meeting and was so impressed with the appearance, atmosphere, food and staff that I knew this was a solution. She has made so many wonderful friends, is engaged in activities, loves her apartment, is playing piano and giving concerts, and has flourished. And I can’t say enough about the staff. Management assisted in navigating the process and amazing meals are prepared for the residents every night with terrific choices. They are all caring and involved people who truly enjoy their work. I’d move in too but they don’t allow horses yet, only dogs and cats.

Very clean facility, lots of activities for people to engage in. The people and fellow residents are very nice and accommodating. This would be a great place to move mom/dad into and know they are in good hands.

This facility offers many options for a loved one to get involved with fellow residents and interact with outside activities. The food here is outstanding with several different options each night. My grandma has lived here for 2 years and has loved every second of it. She has gotten to meet great people who have become some of her dearest friends and it has allowed her to get involved with certain events and activities that she was unable to do when living at home. The community here is very caring towards the residents and truly becomes home.

Independence village is the best! All staff is amazing and super friendly, the space is so cozy and homey. My daughter and I love to come and visit and check out the birds!

The facility is very clean, very large and all the staff have been great. My mother loves them. Josh, the man we dealt with very much tried to make it a fun and interactive personal space. The good is excellent. There are many activities even wheelchair volleyball. I would put all at 5. My mother had been very happy and that is not so easily done.

I'm extremely pleased as are my parents for selecting Independence Village of Oxford. We are pleased with the accommodations. Apartment is larger and offers a fully functioning kitchen. The admin, housekeeping, security and maintenance staff are prompt, courteous and always willing to go beyond the call of duty. The food is wonderful. Great variety, served hot and consistently delicious. I've dined as a guest 4 or 5 times and it gave me fine dining vibes. Great activities and a very caring and competent staff. Five stars throughout. [name removed] is especially kind and knowledgeable. He is a terrific leader. . Our entire family and especially my mom and dad are delighted with their decision to move to IVO-Waterstone.

I am really pleased with my parents' choice to live at Independence Village of Oxford for the past three years. Their apartment along with the common areas are always clean and well-maintained, providing a sense of comfort and security. It has been a true blessing knowing that my parents are living in a safe and welcoming space where they are appreciated and truly feel at home.The daily care provided is exceptional. Staff's dedication to my parents' health, comfort, care and happiness is evident in every interaction. They are always ready to address concerns and offer support whenever needed, regardless of the time of day or night.I would not hesitate to recommend Independence Village of Oxford to anyone looking for a caring and supportive environment for their loved ones. The leadership and community's commitment to create a warm and nurturing atmosphere makes this an ideal choice for families seeking peace of mind and the best quality of life for their loved ones.
