at StoryPoint Rockford

Just checked it out and was blown away! I have been in many senior communities but known that felt like this! Staff was happy, relaxed, comfortable with residents and knowing not only names but personalities! The inside has activities and conveniences set up almost like a village! Chatter and noise in the dining room - people LIVING and enjoying each other! Homey and not sterile feeling! No icky smells - well taken care of facility and residents! Met lovely residents sharing their reluctance to move in but nothing but praise now! The individual units are roomy and inviting! It's a must see! I myself shared a desire to move myself in at least 7 times! Wow! Well done Story Point!

My Mom moved into Story Point about a year ago, into independent living. It was a big move for her, but it didn’t take long for her to adjust. The rooms are spacious, updated and clean. The staff is awesome. They are willing to help when needed, and super sweet with my Mom. And they also keep me informed about anything related to my Mom’s care and well-being. There are multiple activities each day for my Mom to participate in…she never misses bingo and always looks forward to cashing in her “bingo bucks” for tasty snacks. Story point also offers a weekly outing to Meijer, along with other outings. The food and meal service is excellent. The setting feels like a quality restaurant with different meal options each day and for each meal. We even had Story Point cater a birthday party for my Mom, and all of her family and friends who attended were super impressed (as was I). While Story Point isn’t the cheapest, the care, staff, cleanliness and overall experience are well worth it.

My dad reacted badly when we first moved him in. The staff stepped in quickly to help us. I would recommend. Other feedback: make sure that the StoryPoint staff evaluates your loved one to help determine the appropriate location and care needed. We assumed that our Dad could handle Independent Living. Turns out he couldn't. He hid his issues pretty well while at his own home (of 50 years). But when he moved to a new and different place, his decline was magnified.

What we like the most about the community is that they are there for us as well as the residents for emotional support. With all my heart I would recommend StoryPoint Rockford community to other families

My wife's stay @ StoryPoint was only 2 weeks in duration as she passed away there in Hospice care. The facility and staff were excellent. My only "beef/complaint" with StoryPoint was being jerked around by management for over two months for a refund that was owed me. Too many calls & promises for payment. Not sure what caused the snafu but I believe StoryPoint overall is a good facility. I am certain that the facility I placed [name removed] in was high quality. The 2 weeks we were there I had the opportunity to watch the staff interact with the other residents and I never saw anything that gave me pause. This is a good place that handles their refund policy poorly.

We are very happy with our move to StoryPoint Rockford. The service has been great. Everything from our meals to our daily service has been outstanding.

I love Storypoint. The best thing about this place is the people. They have the greatest staff and its obvious that they care. Great Job!

Oh this is the best place. The care staff is so helpful. They help me with everything. From our visit to our move in date. This staff has gone above and beyond.

We have a beautiful 2 bedroom apartment so spacious. Our family comes to visit a lot, it is great that they can stay with us. We are really enjoying everything we have only been here a few months.

I have been at StoryPoint for over 3 years. That staff is kind and friendly. They are always willing to help. Reception even helped me with my groceries yesterday. I love my new home. I've made wonderful friends. My apartment is spotless, have a great view and great neighbors.

I love this place, I have everything I need! I also enjoy the Facebook page with all of the pictures.

My brothers and I are very happy with Storypoint and the care she is getting. I would recommend two others yes and really no other comment except every employee we've come in contact with has been amazing

We recently moved into StoryPoint. So far, the residents are friendly, the staff are amazing and there is so much to do. The programs are outstanding, lots of variety and lots of fan.

I didn't want to move out of my house but now I realized I should have been here years ago. I am finally getting better eating good meals and even getting exercise. This place has saved my life.
