at Independence Village Of Saginaw

We need to know the proper procedures for obtaining meals when we're not well, times and days for using the facility bus, better understanding of in-home (on-site) health care provisions and limitations, to name a few. Our building manager is poor at implementing and following-through on requested items he's promised to take care of.

Independence Village was fantastic for our mom. A great balance for her between Independence and the help she needs management and staff made it feel like home with their kindness and caring.

Across the board the staff at Independence Village is kin, caring, thoughtful and considerate. They frequently went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure my mother was happy and comfortable. In addition it is a nice updated facility offering a good variety of services and activities

Food needs help!

Great food and daily service.

The whole place is very nice place to live. All of the people and staff are friendly.

The staff are very friendly and helpful as are the residents. Everyone welcomed my aunt and make her transition so easy.

I enjoy the other residents the meals are really good. The staff is friendly and very helpful.

Adjusting to the new aides is an issue but all in all going well!! I would definitely recommend to others!!

The majority of the staff have been there long-term. Seem very happy with our jobs. The physical therapy department there is outstanding. Not part of Independence, but a major plus.I have sent an extensive email regarding the food. How unpleasurable it is to join dad for meals because everybody at the table is complaining about their food 🙁 most of the time. The soups and deserts are often quite nice.They have changed chefs and ownership since Dad went to live there. Initially, the food was one of their greatest draws

I made one call in the morning to A Place for Mom and by early afternoon the same day we had an appointment at Independent Village on McCarty Rd. One introduction meeting and a look at the facilities and were hooked. [names removed] say the staff is wonderful! Also, they say the food is wonderful!! No waiting time, plenty to eat, lots of fruit and the food is never cold. [name removed] just loves breakfasts!

A beautiful facility!

I can't say enough good things about the staff at Independence Village of Saginaw! From the moment we walked in, everyone was incredibly welcoming and kind. You can tell they genuinely care about the residents and go out of their way to make people feel at home.

My grandmother lives here and I love the atmosphere
