The facility is clean, the staff seem very friendly, they seem to offer a lot of activities and they have a nice dining room. I think my mom really likes it. She just moved to a bigger apartment. My mom is happy there, especially since she now has a one bed apartment overlooking the lake and walking trail.

Sanctuary Grande is lovely. Clean and welcoming facility. Staff seems friendly and caring. We just did a couple of tours of the Sanctuary, so these thoughts are just based on that, not actually dealing with them day in and day out

My Grandparents moved into this facility in middle of May 2025. It has been a hard transition due to many medication challenges, but the staff is absolutely amazing! They know what they are doing! Mary Ann at the front desk always has a welcoming and patient presence! Today, I met with Harley, the Director of Nursing and Melissa another nurse, and they were so kind, compassionate and knowledgeable! I left there feeling like we chose the right place! They took time to explain everything to me that’s going on with my grandparents care and daily life. The facility is beautiful, they offer a large variety of activities and as I said before, the staff are super friendly! This type of transition. is hard, but the staff here understand that and are working as a team to make it better for everyone involved! 🙂

Sanctuary Grande was a godsend for my mom who spent a little over a year in memory care. She was able to socialize and enjoy herself and take advantage of all the activities such as music therapy. The staff were compassionate and we always felt she was in good hands. We also always enjoyed the family nights they put on. Overall a great experience.

Everyone knows her name and always speaks to her. The staff rotates through the memory care wing and the independent living wing which made her recent transition from independent living to memory care seamless.There are always plenty of activities available and she has especially enjoyed the weekly field trip to go out to lunch.

Utilize the questionnaires you provided...extremely helpful when reviewing facilities and making decision. Be certain to get special offers in writing. Definitely helps if info doesn't get communicated across departments. Know specific areas each is responsible for...facilitates resolving issues that may arise and assures you get correct information. Facility is "alive" ... residents are out and about ,lots of interaction at all times...well lit and looks like a real home. Overall one of the best and nicest in Stark County. All facilities will have challenges especially with changes. Mother is pleased happy and involved.

The Sanctuary Grande is a wonderful facility. The grounds are wonderfully kept and the interior is spotless. Mom is amazed at the food and food selection. She keeps saying she is going to be charged extra because they have so much food. She will hardly believe me that it is just another fine feature of the facility. The only thing that would make it better is if they had more evening activities. Mom is a late night person, so she gets lonely and bored in the evening.

I visited and met the Executive Director Alicia and sales Amber. They are both absolutely wonderful — their energy, passion, and dedication to the community truly shine through. It’s clear that this is a well-cared-for and thriving senior living community. I loved the warm and welcoming atmosphere and it looks like they have a lot of fun! They are pretty full/in high demand.

Overall it’s been a pretty good experience. There are bound to be things that not everyone likes. But so far it’s been a good experience for my brother. And he really likes the food! Plus it’s close to me so I can visit frequently. The parking situation is a problem though. Usually have to park in the back because there aren’t many spaces in front. Not normally a problem but the weather has been so bad and cold that it’s not favorable.

My dad has been in the memory care unit at this facility for a year now, and I’m thrilled with how well he’s doing. The staff is exceptional—helpful, attentive, and always available when needed. It’s clear they genuinely care about the residents, and their support has made a big difference in my Dad’s overall well-being.He has friends visiting regularly, and the welcoming atmosphere makes it easy for loved ones to stay connected. The facility is clean, well-maintained, and provides the structure and attention needed for memory care residents.I highly recommend this facility to anyone seeking quality care for a loved one. It’s been a wonderful choice for our family, and seeing my Dad thrive here has been such a relief. I would give it 4.5 or 5 out of 5 stars—there’s always room for small improvements, but the care and compassion are outstanding!

My reasons for choosing Sanctuary Grande: Very professional staff, sincere caring of residents, significant attempt in providing meaningful and elegant celebrations for everyone, a delightful and thoughtful decor for all seasons, kitchen staff is friendly, sensitive to different needs of diners, talented chef, excellent nursing care, beautiful outdoor areas, gas fireplace in main lobby, personalized attention for residents, and easy access to administration when needed. I am most comfortable knowing my husband is in the hands of people who respect him and that I feel he is heard, seen, welcomed, and cared for.

Overall, the level of care is good. Most of the staff are genuinely interested in providing a safe and comfortable experience for the residents. There seems to be a moderate rate of turnover among the staff, which presents occasional coverage challenges.

Our Dad has lived at the Sanctuary Grande for a little over a year, and we are extremely happy with the entire experience.The staff, including front desk personnel, dining room workers and cooks, nursing staff and aides, administration, and others, are genuinely caring and capable. The aides and dining room servers especially go above and beyond, doing an excellent job with a truly caring touch.It is such a relief knowing Dad has immediate access to care, and moreover, has constant interaction with the other wonderful residents. There is a wealth of life experience there and we have all been enriched by interactions with staff and residents.Also, the food is GREAT! Everyone in our family enjoys sharing meals with Dad, not only because of the great company, but the cuisine as well!

The Sanctuary Grande is a beautiful and well cared for facility with caring, qualified & energetic staff. The environment is bright & cheerful providing residents with the warmth & comfort of home. The residents are well cared for physically, socially and emotionally. We are grateful knowing our mother is in such kind, caring and loving hands!
