I was definitely impressed by StoryPoint Schererville! The facility itself is clean and has a comfortable feel. There were plenty of varied activites / events to keep busy and make it easy to develop relationships! The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Most importantly, you could tell they cared aboit their residents! Would definitely recommend!!

What we like the most about the community is that everyone is helpful and polite! The secretary's are like a family friend

Dawn was very thorough with all of the amenities offered. She made me and my wife very comfortable. Went to great lengths to answer all of my questions. Beautiful complex.

The staff are all very professional, kind and engaging to residents and family. I have had a pleasant experience. The facility is very clean. The staff have given great care to my sister. They have consistent activities and entertainment to engage the residents. The food is good and dining is a family atmosphere. Residents are given a choice and asked if they want additional servings.

I think StoryPoint is an excellent facility. There are numerous activities to participate in daily. The staff are all very kind and helpful. My only complaint is with the food. It is sub-par and it used to be affordable for family members to join their loved ones for a meal. $15.00 at lunch time and $18.00 at dinner for a hotdog or a sandwich is ridiculously expensive. While the food is good when they serve buffets, $35.00 a person is also ridiculously expensive. I would think that this facility would encourage family members to join their loved ones and this price gouging does not promote that.

StoryPoint Schererville has given Mom a new lease on life. The staff are all so kind and accommodating. She loves all the activities (especially workouts with Patrick) and special events as well as the planned outings. I love how creative the staff is in coming up with celebrations , entertainment and food activities that engage and enhance the experience of living there. Living 1000 miles away from Mom, I am able to have peace of mind that she is happy, safe, has friends and is enjoying her later years of life .

I had such a heartwarming experience teaching a paint and sip class to the wonderful residents, at StoryPoint-Schererville. The seniors brought so much creativity and joy to their canvases—each adding thoughtful touches that reflected their unique personalities. I was also genuinely impressed by how attentively the staff cares for the residents in such a beautiful and welcoming facility. A big thank you to Brooke for coordinating the event so seamlessly—I look forward to on-going collaborations with StoryPoint.

Recently moved mom into Story Point. All nursing staff, activities staff and clerical staff bent over backwards to help her adjust and make it a fabulous move in experience

What an absolutely wonderful facility! I can’t say enough positive things ………… having had my parents in various facilities for rehab and short term stays, I am very familiar with where others “fail or fall short” of providing concern, attention, and genuine care to their residents, where cleanliness can be, and sadly was an ongoing issue for me, and a true desire to enhance the lives of their residents was, in my opinion, not at all evident. I found this facility and the staff to be the cream of the crop! They are very best in the industry, well educated, trained, compassionate, and it’s so obvious that each employee really does genuinely care about providing a “home” to the residents. They don’t just provide a home, they provide an unsurpassed level of care and an environment that echoes family. The facility is clean, the food is excellent, the available activities are well planned and planned so that the residents can participate and enjoy the interaction. Do not hesitate to visit Schererville Story Point if you find yourself in the position to find help with a loved one. You will be giving them an unsurpassed quality of life!

When our family member could no longer continue at home, he chose StoryPoint, and we are happy that he did. We all received excellent orientation before he moved in, and the community liaison was very attentive. The moving in process was easy, and staff were immediately helpful and welcoming. The adjustment process was hard for our formerly fiercely independent family member, and staff worked well with him to make it easier. People at the front desk, in the nursing corps, with maintenance, and with administration have all been responsive and helpful. The facility itself is clean, bright, and well lit. We all know that some days are better than others, and it is difficult to always have a cheerful, positive attitude. It appears that the administration has done a wonderful job of hiring people who genuinely care about the residents at StoryPoint, but it also appears that the administration is continuing to succeed by doing the things that keep staff motivated and positive.
