My own personal experience is the experience of really nice and funny residents and current employees! This place feels like home. I enjoy my waking time at Independence Villages for the warmth & settled environment that surrounds me here. Join the rest of the families here with no regrets. I enjoy new personalities and the regular family visits from big families as Front Desk for Receptionist.

Overall, good first impression.

We have been so pleased with Independence, Village of Waterford. They have done a wonderful job of making my dad feel welcomed and supported. The staff is caring, kind and works so hard to make sure all residents feel valued. And they work so hard to provide activities with a beautiful focus on having fun.

What a blessing! Our family lit-up upon arrival. The residents are vivacious and delightful. The staff is attentive and helpful. This is truly an all-inclusive community. Style, CLEAN, supportive, oh, so much more. The food, three meals a day served like a top notch restaurant and the food is delicious! Fresh food. We are recommending to everyone. And affordable. Everything is newly remodeled. The apartments are exactly what we needed and more. We never expected so much! We are so happy.

Overall we are satisfied. There have been issues with the elevator not working (one time it was over a week), and recently, the floors have been getting redone. The staff works very hard to accommodate during these tough times. They are working to update the entire building

My sister really liked Independence Village of Waterford. Tiffany was GREAT. The rooms we saw were nice and had what she needs. The food served at lunch was quite good. The facility is undergoing some renovations, so some things are a little untidy right now (but hey, ya' can't make an omelet without breaking an egg). The facility could use another elevator for the residents. Other than that, it seemed like a good fit for my sister.

Their dining room is huge and welcoming. My mom loves the meals and the workers there. When someone new moves in they assign them buddies. So they are never alone in the beginning. Couldn’t be happier with the staff and amenities there. My mom even has a patio and she is on the ground floor which is an added bonus. They have plenty of activities there as well and a wide variety.

I would give 5's for all except the on staff medical was not great however they were in the process of changing to a new group. I was very happy with staff and food was good good atmosphere and activities. I found it a great value for the money and they are also making many improvements to the rooms and common areas.

We checked out this facility when we got an invitation and we thought it would be perfect for our dad. He gets a lot more exercise and much better food than his previous place. We love the staff and they're always there at a moment's notice with any questions to be answered or any concerns. They are very helpful and seem to care for all the residents. I love the fact that there's programs every day for exercise and games. My dad loves to play cards so there's always somebody playing cards. I hope that Dad is happy there for the rest of his years

Just finished my first week and it has been everything I had hopped for. Friendly people excellent staff. Clean and modern. Definitely recommend this place

I researched many places before deciding to move my dad into a senior community. What initially felt like a difficult decision became much easier after speaking with Tiffani. She was incredibly accommodating and truly worked with both my dad’s and my needs.The move-in process had its challenges—my dad had a last-minute change of heart. However, just a day later, he came around, and now, after only four days in the community, he hasn’t stopped talking about how much he enjoys it. He constantly raves about the delicious food and the kindness of everyone around him.I can’t say enough about how supportive and helpful the staff has been. Shereida, Tiffani, Nicole, and Marissa have all been so welcoming and friendly. Aubrey even encouraged my dad to sign up for an outing to the DIA—something I never imagined he would do! Seeing him engaged in activities is truly a wonderful surprise and a blessing for our family.We are beyond grateful to have found such an amazing community for my dad. Thank you to the entire team for making this transition so positive!

After a long search for a senior living community, we happened on Independence Village of Waterford, and are so glad we did. Location, apartments, amenities , food, and especially staff, are absolutely wonderful! Every staff member we've met has been welcoming, friendly, professional, and so helpful with our adjustment! Every concession possible has been made to meet our needs and help us make our transition ...and we easily give our new home 5 stars!

Always friendly staff and always helpful.

I have been here since July and I am very happy here. Only one problem and that's the fire alarm. However, I think it might be under control now.
