Pandora, the community specialist, was absolutely amazing. She was informative and a complete delight to talk to. I felt completely comfortable with both the beautiful community they have and the staff. She personally vouched for their care team. I feel comfortable bringing one of the most important persons in ours lives there, for her care as she ages. Thank you. I’m almost positive we will be seeing you soon.

We have had the best experience with all of the staff at Independence Village as we are transitioning my in-laws. Pandora is a rock star, always available for us, with a huge smile, great optimism and truly seems to care about her clients, the family and has everyone’s best interest in mind! She’s a doll, and so far, everyone staff member we have encountered has been welcoming and friendly. We feel so good about this move and look forward to our time there with the family!

Our family was no longer able to manage care for out father at home. We feel like our beloved dad received the utmost of trusted care possible at Independence Village. It brought is comfort to know he was being attentively cared for with compassion, dignity, and respect. We are exceedingly thankful for the staff at Independence Village for their compassionate care!

Thankfully we did not have to put my father in law in assisted living, but after speaking with [name removed], several times, I was very comfortable if things would have turned out differently. [name removed] was knowledgeable, caring, and very professional. She has reached out to me several times, just to check in to see if I needed anything or if my situation has changed. She is truly a kind heart. I wasn't able to tour the facility, but I have friends that have their loved ones there and they are thrilled with the accommodations.

Just got my Mother In Law signed up to live here and couldn’t be more excited for her!! Pandora made the experience seamless and very attentive throughout the entire process. She hasn’t moved in yet, but if her living experience is anything like the registration process then she will be very pleased!

My mother and I had a very short window of time to find the right place for my uncle, and Pandora was with us every step of the way. She has a rare combination of professionalism, genuine care and passion for her job. From our first phone call, through two meetings (one of which required an immense amount of patience!) and the move-in, she has just been the most amazing source of calm, lovely leadership through this process. We're excited for my uncle's future and have such hope that his life will improve at this special community.

I cannot emphasize enough the tremendous care and support provided to my mother by this facility.Mom, unfortunately, was in residence for only a handful of months. She had insisted she be cared for in her house (fearful of "those places") until it got to the point we didn't consider that safe/sufficient. Once moved in, mom herself started referring to her apartment as "home" and stated she loved being there.The staff, from administration to wellness to custodians, to a person, where kind, attentive and caring. One example amongst many… my son and significant other purchased her a plant… robust and needing little care beyond watering. During an extended absence (hospital stay and rehab) the room was cleaned… expected… and some gracious soul watered the plant (even updating the sticky note with the date) for her.Again… I cannot emphasize enough how grateful we are to Independence Village of White Lake.Thank you eternally…

I am very happy with Independence Village, the care and treatment of my parents by all staff members has been wonderful. If ever I have questions they are answered quickly. Thank you so much for everything.

I like the activities and special gatherings and comradery that I see. There is many things to do to keep busy. I really have no communication with management

My husband is having major cancer surgery tomorrow and the people and the staff here could not be more supportive.They could improve on the food by offering less processed meals.

My repairs and upgrades are preformed quickly and of his quality food is versatile for small changes and food allergies. The grounds are neat and clean. Laundry service is excellent.

We celebrated a birthday for out mother in the private dining room. The chef suggested details I did not think of. Food was amazing!! Cake was amazing as well, Highly recommend. So enjoyable with out party of 9.

I wanted a complete assistance for my sister who had many difficulties during her 69 years. She has a good but not great experience some of the staff could have more training.

Absolutely beautiful! The staff is very friendly and experienced. Rachel has been very responsive, professional, and helpful in all aspects of this wonderful community living lifestyle that is perfect in every way!
