October 8, 2020 Update: Michigan Visitation Protocols (Michigan Residents Only)

Dear Residents and Families,

Given the most recent ruling, we are going to follow the protocols that we adhere to in the states where we have sister communities that allow visitors in the building.

We are excited because we’ve seen the positive benefits of our residents being able to safely visit with their loved ones. With this in mind, we want to share that our commitment to safety is still our top priority, and we will continue to do everything in our control to maintain your well-being. We will continue to adhere to our enhanced cleaning and sanitization protocols, engage in symptom screening of all visitors, and utilize a single-entry point for our building. All of our employees will continue to follow our safety precautions, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). In addition, we have already identified and have prepared areas of our community designed to keep you, your loved ones and others safe when they come to visit.

Our promise to you and your family is that we will continue to do everything we can to keep you — and all our residents — safe. We ask that you and your loved ones make that same promise when in our community. While you know where you have been and who you have been exposed to, you don’t know that of others. Our hope is that you will continue to join us in helping us protect all of our residents and employees by adhering to the following protocols:

• Wear a mask and maintain social distancing when in common areas.
• Wash your hands thoroughly and frequently.
• Let a team member know if you are feeling ill.
