November 11, 2020 Update: Employee Holiday Protocols

November 11, 2020

Employees,

As the holidays near, we understand many make travel plans to visit loved ones, host out-of-town guests, or have gatherings with family and friends. Due to COVID-19, there are added safety precautions we ask that you follow in order to avoid contracting the virus and spreading it to others:

  • Please follow all recommendations provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). These include:
    • Wear a mask when in public settings;
    • Maintain appropriate social distancing (6 feet) from anyone who is not from your household;
    • Wash your hands often or use sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol;
    • Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth;
    • Avoid contact with anyone who is sick;
    • During travel, use disinfecting wipes on handles and gas pumps, bring your own food and water, and wash your hands thoroughly after being in any public space.
  • If you are traveling internationally, upon return, you must quarantine for 14 days before you are able to return to work.
  • In the event you do need to quarantine and are therefore unable to come into work, COVID-19 pay is a maximum of 14 days.
  • Please be familiar with and adhere to state guidelines regarding travel restrictions.

We appreciate your diligence in following COVID-19 recommendations to keep our community safe. For more information on CDC guidelines around traveling, please visit cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/travelers.

If you have any questions related to these travel protocols or the measures we are taking in our community to protect against COVID-19, please connect with your leader.
