We have been so pleased with all the amenities and staff at StoryPoint Germantown. My mom (82, early dementia) is enjoying the many activities and friendship there. The staff is always keeping me informed of the happenings and always willing to help Mom with little issues, like her phone or tv. This has been the perfect balance of independence in her apartment, and additional eyes on her without the need to have sitters. We highly recommend, especially if your loved one is living alone and would enjoy the company of others. It is more like a cruise ship on land than an assisted living! Don't miss sharing the live entertainment every Friday afternoon with your loved one. [name removed] brings in engaging and entertaining local talent.

My husband is a resident in Memory Care. I was very scared when we came to this decision to move him here. The first time I walked through the front door on my initial visit, I was amazed by the facility and the employees here. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming and that made me feel like we had found the right place.It’s beautiful and immediately I felt he would be safe here. There’s an open door policy to come and visit your loved ones whenever you want. I appreciate being called by my first name when I visit. Some of the employees go out of their way to make you feel like family.There are so many activities for the residents to participate in and I have on occasion, joined in. I look forward to sharing these times with my sweet husband .The administration, nurses, care partners, therapist for PT& OT, activity directors, restaurant staff and housekeeping staff and many more make this place a very desirable home for my loved one.Words do not do it justice!

One of the most wonderful kindness places that I have ever been ,my girl loved it there and I loved being able to visit her there I only wish that I could hold her hand one more Christmas. the caregivers at story Point Germantown and so caring and were so kind and loving to my girl , and I miss them all

My father moved in about 6 months ago and is thriving here! Like many seniors he didn't particularly want to come but from the point of the initial tour to the moving in process to now being a resident, Story Pont has been amazing. Their staff is incredible and Dad has really enjoyed it. As a daughter who lives out of town, Story Point has given me comfort knowing he is well, cared for, and safe. And all the residents have been a joy. He has companionship. I can't say enough good things about Story Point. All credit goes to my Lord who directed me here!! A grateful daughter!

I love the whole concept and the staff and the residents here They are friendly. I enjoy the outing on Thursday’s with the other resident The living enrichments Director takes his time and makes sure we exercise and enjoy our time each day . They’re no other place I would rather be. My husband comes to visit at least 4 times a week and he is welcome each time he comes he also comes on the outing with us. The food is good as well.

Excellent experience. Everyone at Story point works hard to make clients and their families feel welcome and at ease. Food & environment are top notch!!

The building is very nice. The rooms and bathrooms are nice and big The activities and entertainment is very good. The food is not quite what was expected. The staff in memory care are ok on a good day. Otherwise, they don't really care whether they do their job correctly or not. I understand how hard it is to care for someone with dementia, but these care givers act like they are not trained for such a position. Just from talking to some of the residents in the assisted living part of the facility, they love it. Some of the memory care staff lack training and empathy for these type residents.

They are great. We love it there. My step dad is very happy. Very caring staff and the faculty is very clean. I would recommend it to others

Staff is friendly and listens to needs. Doesn't just say they will make adjustments, they have on most concerns. Yes, I would recommend this community to other families based on the experience so far.

So many of the staff at Storypoint are vested in the residents with their hearts. The activities director brightens everyone’s day & he connects with each person. The policies relating to connection that they have in place in memory care are important. All of the staff are trained in working with dementia. The surroundings are warm and comfortable. We love the outdoor courtyards. I have been grateful for the care they have provided and how personally they relate with my husband. There are a lot of years of experience in the staff there. The food is varied and delicious.

Moving our mother was one of the toughest decisions jobs we had to make. My mother recently moved into her new assisted living community at StoryPoint (Gtown) and the experience has been truly exceptional. From the moment we toured the facility with [name removed] and [name removed], the staff’s warmth and attentiveness made us feel welcomed and confident in our decision including meeting [name removed] and [name removed] who both excel in their jobs. The accommodations are beautiful—spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed for comfort and safety. The care team is outstanding, ([names removed] and numerous others) providing personalized support with genuine compassion, ensuring my mother feels valued and at home. Daily activities, delicious meals (the team in the dining room from the chef to the servers feel like family) and a vibrant community atmosphere keep her engaged and happy. Shoutout to [name removed] who makes everyone feel loved/valued. I am beyond grateful for the peace of mind knowing she’s in such caring hands.

All in all, the service, care and facility are all very good. Just a couple of suggestions: When it comes to conversations about loved ones, with staff members, it would help to not speak as though they aren’t in the room. Include them in the plan and ask their preferences. They need respect, and when they are capable, to be included in the “why” around decisions regarding their care or policies or procedures, (we can still make the bigger decisions in their best interests).Conversely, when working directly with a loved one and they are afraid to ask for toilet paper or don’t have their dirty laundry ready, take a moment to help them. Be more direct….with respect.

We are so thankful for Storypoint! Dad has been living at Storypoint for over two years, and the staff is top notch! All of the team members go out of their way to make him feel at home! I highly recommend Storypoint!

The move for my mother in law has been the best thing that could have happened. As age has caught up fast, she has been in need of a little motivation and boy does she get it here! She participates in so many activities, things we didn’t even know she would be interested in and the socialization that comes w the activities has been more than medicinal-it’s been magical.

With time to spare, I visit a friend who works at StoryPoint. The atmosphere was beautiful. Everything was nice, clean and neatly placed Even the pillows have been fluffed. I was greeted with a smile by the receptionist. While visiting my friend, I took notice of how the staff interacted with the Residents. I heard compliments & saw hugs giving. It warm my heart because I've worked with seniors before and haven't seen this in other facilities because it was a Saturday I got to play Bingo.
