I only have wonderful things to say about this community. I especially want to recognize Tawanna, the Wellness Director, and Tony, the Director of Connection Points. They truly care about their residents and consistently go above and beyond to support them. 11/10!!!

Moved both my parents into Independence Village about 6 weeks ago. We had some bumps at first but now everything seems to be going better now. Beautiful facility and the staff with Corsocare are wonderfully attentive and seem to care for the well belong of my both my parents.

As a social worker, I am very particular when recommending an assisted living to our families. My experience with Independent Village has been nothing short of phenomenal. The care and follow through with their staff, both management and care providers, has been above any other ALF I’ve ever worked with. I’m so impressed with the compassion and love shown to their residents as well as the families. I would recommend them for anyone looking at assisted living.

My wife fell and the staff was there to help within a few minutes. She is very happy with the food service

Staff was incredibly welcoming and answered questions promptly. Facility is clean, bright and comfortable. Several choices of living styles and unit sizes. My mom is trying a temporary stay this winter. She has visited multiple times and feels safe and welcome. Fingers crossed it is a good fit.

Easy to navigate, great support for residents, variety of social events, feels like home!I can only speak to my parents apartment but it's a nice size. It was updated before they moved in. Washer and dryer in the apartment is a plus. Full size kitchen, den and a balcony are all nice amenities.

Great Community. Community is updated and offers spacious space for retirement audience. Community is close to a variety of restaurants and shopping. Apartments are furnished with updated appliances and LED lighting.
- Tracy Maddix
Good: residents and staff are super friendly. I like my apartment, balcony, facility and all the events that are planned for us. Bad: lost our chef and food service is not up to par right now but they are working to fix that. When school started most of our wait staff left for college which means mostly new wait staff which will be ok once they are trained and used to our quirks.
- Marjorie
Quality of care is lacking somewhat but it's a problem everywhere being short of help but they do respond when you complain so that is good. All are very friendly and want to help when can.

Staff works in Unity to be sure we feel safe, heard and respected. Our Wellness Director goes above and beyond to be sure we are mentally and physically challenged- is amazing in all the creative ways he keeps us Seniors engaged and current with the outside environment in our Community.. SO much Fun!!

My 84 year old mother and 97 year old step-father have been living in Independence Village of Zionsville West since [date removed]. They started in Independent Living but then my mother had a medical issue and now they are in assisted living. We have been very happy with both sides of the building (independent living and assisted living).I feel like everyone from the Front Desk staff to the servers in the dining room care about their jobs. The Wellness Director makes a point of knowing a lot about the individuals under her care. The Executive Director is very open to talking to us - both to say Hi and to check to make sure everything is going well. The CNAs do a good job.The food in the dining room is generally very good.No place is perfect 100% of the time but I feel like any concerns we have are addressed in a timely manner.

We looked at a few different facilities. When we visited Independence Village we were comfortable right away. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. All of our questions were answered throughly and we were shown around the whole facility. We were very impressed with their memory care. Make sure you check out this facility.

All 5's I appreciate so much the care and love that [name removed] received there. I only wish I had moved him sooner from [community removed] care so he could have benefited from all opportunities offered. The staff was incredibly supportive while [name removed] was in hospice and when he passed away.

My mom is thriving at Independence Village. We are so happy with the nursing staff- everyone is so friendly and attentive. We are also impressed with the activity staff- there is so much to do all the time. I’d especially like to commend the physical therapy team for all the effort and care they provide!!
