Here are some examples of the experiences they’ve recently had in Tallmadge, along with surrounding areas.
- A Day of Inspiration: To be inspired by great works of art, residents traveled roughly 45 minutes away from Tallmadge. At the Butler Institute of American Art, they marveled at an assortment of exhibits, paintings, and sculptures.
- A Piscura Performance: In October 2025, entertainer Greg Piscura visited our community. Residents absolutely loved his performance, as always!
- A Winery and Friendship: During a gorgeous day, residents visited Maize Valley Winery, which is approximately half an hour from our community. At the winery, they enjoyed a hayride, lunch, and the friendships they’ve created at Danbury Tallmadge.
- Beauty in a Botanical Garden: From time to time, our residents even travel to Cleveland, as evidenced by their journey to the Cleveland Botanical Garden. While there, they relished the butterflies, gardens, and sunshine.
- Fun at the Derby: While visiting Derby Downs — Akron’s famous soap box derby — our residents proved that age is just a number. Many can’t wait to come back, in fact!
- Honoring Veterans: To remember our nation’s veterans and veteran spouses, our residents visited the Norton Veterans Memorial. While doing so, they paid their respects and reflected on veterans’ sacrifices for our country’s freedom.
