Lee Smith, a resident of StoryPoint Saline, has a way with words — and she knows how to use them.
At 88 years old, Lee has written more than 2,500 columns and has spent most of her life working as a writer and editor at local newspapers. She is a charter member of the Michigan Women’s Press Club and is now using her talents to bring her community together with a newsletter, To the Point, which she creates quarterly.
Lee does all the writing, editing and layout. She interviews her neighbors and staff members and stays updated on events around the community.
StoryPoint Saline is grateful for residents like Lee, who use their skills and passions to bring joy to others.
