- Family Bingo Night: Cards were flying, numbers were called, and prizes were claimed, all in the name of good old-fashioned bingo fun. With snacks, laughs, and a little friendly smack talk, it was a great evening for our residents and their families.
- Swenson’s Truck Day: Nothing says summer like Swenson’s! Residents lined up for their favorites — delicious burgers, fries, and milkshakes — served hot and fresh from the iconic food truck. Taking time to relax together and plenty of second helpings, it was a feel-good day for our residents.
- Brandywine Falls Outing: Residents laced up their walking shoes and went for a scenic trip to Brandywine Falls in Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Strolling along the scenic boardwalk trail, residents reached a beautiful 60-foot waterfall. The walk offered beautiful views and provided residents with an opportunity to enjoy the fresh air and nature.
- Warther Museum Visit: From intricate carvings to a collection of 73,000 buttons, residents spent the day at the Ernest Warther Museum & Gardens, discovering fascinating stories, artifacts, and beautifully maintained gardens at this one-of-a-kind museum.
- Akron Civic Theater Show: Residents took a trip to the iconic Akron Civic Theater to experience the U.S. Army Field Band and Soldiers’ Chorus live in concert. The performance celebrated America’s spirit of exploration with stirring music, immersive visuals, and heartfelt tributes to veterans.
- The Natural History Museum: From dinosaur skeletons to engaging exhibits, this museum trip was filled with wonder from start to finish. Residents explored ancient fossils and even learned how long dinosaurs lived (spoiler: the same as the short ones!). It was a day of curiosity, discovery, and a few good laughs along the way.
